Forums - Nintendo - What dev/series are you most excited to see as far as what they can pull off on Switch 2, and why?

Now that Nintendo's next system it out, it brings with it a generational leap in capability for IPs and developers who've been restricted to somewhat-better-than-gen-7 hardware for over a decade. Is there a particular dev or series where you can't wait to see what they'll manage to pull off on the new console, and if so, why does this particular one excite you?

Ocarina of Time Remake - hopefully they go with improved original art style, rather than 3D version.

Resident Evil

Didn't express the OP clearly at first so have re-written it.

Basically, it's less "what game do you wanna see on Switch 2" and more "what's a series or dev where you're excited to see what they can accomplish on the new hardware, given the leap over Switch 1".

Xenoblade. Or whathever Monolith is currently working on.

Well, after more detailed OP - again, Ocarina of Time Remake.

Hopefully, they stick to original design and slightly improve on certain aspects - OoT is fairly limited in scope and that gives them opportunity to crank everything all the way up for what is quite small world compared to BotW/TotK, so it can be presented in much more detail, while retaining original art style.

I'm interested to see what Luigi's mansion 4 is going to look like. I'm not even a fan of the gameplay but the visuals of LM3 blew me away in Switch 1.

More than that, though, I'm excited to see 3D Zelda and Mario.

How much of that artstyle was because of the N64 constraints thought? I am all for the weird and eerie vibe locations give off in the original OoT/MM but the concept art for these games kind of betrays the fact that the artstyle they went with on 3DS was the intended one from the start.

As for the topic, I want to see Pikmin expand on the indoor locations that they tried with 4 in a sequel. A more detailed and even more interactive house (maybe even abandoned house) setting or in general a semi-urban area utilizing the processing jump from S1->S2 sounds amazing in my head.

All I want is Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5+2.8+3 to be playable without having it be cloud versions.

I want to play the entire series portable.

Dont care and/or cant think of any other series or games.

Im just excited to see what Retro does with MP4. Its been a while since they made a game. Hope they still have the magic.
