Switch 2 weekly sales now will have nothing to do with lack of demand but with lack of stock. The fact that Switch 2 only sold 150K in Japan last week is not because there is a ton of unsold stock with no one wanting to buy it, it means that available stock in Japan was 150K and Nintendo sold out all available stock. This happens for all newly released consoles, after launch week sales collapse, not because demand collapsed but because stock after launch will always be lower than the launch stock.

you have no proof of this i have not seen anywhere that the switch 2 is sold out in japan. it is still in stock at most retailers

This is absolutely false. You can not get a switch at retail anywhere in Japan right now. Or if you can it sells out instantly. There is nothing sitting on shelves.

so, you are really trying to say that NS2 is a flop, that didn't take you long!

BOTW sold exactly 1 more copy than TOTK on Switch 2 this week according to the chart.

How strange. And the price difference between the two SKUs is only about $1 -$2. XD

I was surprised to see "Tears" doing better also WW.

And what retailers would those be?  Currently, there are 4 units available on Amazon Japan, all sold at higher than MSRP (MK bundle retails for 53,980 yen):

Where is your proof?

NSW is not holding up well… 13k is a lot lower than I was anticipating. NS2, on the other hand, continues to go ballistic. Very strong week two legs!!

Agreed I would have expected NS2 to at least keep outselling PS5 for a while.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Switch 2 fell off a cliff. Nintendo should go 3rd party

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

Don't worry, it's eventually bond to happen.

Such is the way our Cliff master QuickRick has taught us 👏

But seriously, the moment the Switch 2 shows a moment of slowing down, in any period, for any reason, you gonna get those kind people rearing their head fast to make such comments.

Much like Switch 1, Switch 2 stock will likely be constrained for much of its early life, there's only so much Nintendo can physically make and ship.

A big second week drop is normal and no cause for alarm.
