Take it with a grain of salt.
Because the forecast for the year is 15m,does it add up?

It would be a lot.
PS4 and PS5 = 4,5 million in November + December with holidays season.
If this is real, that's crazy

Exactly!
I saw you're from France, reportedly launch sales there is 200k, Mario kart world 95% attach rate.
650 € average spending
I thought PS5 was sold out the first year or 2 worldwide? Switch 2 isn't sold out at most major retailers in Australia. Maybe it's different in North America
It sold out here as well during the weekend because there's nothing left at my local electro shops and EB Games. They apparently had a lot of non pre-order stock as well of the bundle.
Fact is it likely sold out in most places while also having a much higher allocation than when the Switch launched. Enthusiasts at least we're waiting for that one and it shows when you've got the stock to match
Edit :
Also considering the report that it sold 400K units in China through a SINGLE online retailer, yes ... I'd believe such a report

Nintendo made something like 4 million units at or near launch. I saw someone online saying his Canada Walmarts had them in stock yesterday, but every store near me in Minnesota is sold out of them.
The forecast can be adjusted up. Samsung already stated that could ramp up the chipset production if demand is too crazy
We reap what we sow
Likely, remember consumers are trained for prices to increase, NOT decrease. The best deal is now.

I wouldn’t be surprised, we are the biggest European market for the Nintendo Switch so it’ll follow with Switch 2.
