Anyone tested Age Of Calamity?

I could do it myself, but Im lazy...

It's in the video in the OP; locked 30fps now.

I am lazy too, so I have to ask: Did they test the co-op mode in AoC? That one commonly became a slide show when there was more action going on. The game operated in sub 10 fps territory.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

Is MarioKart 8 Deluxe the same resolution as on Switch 1 on Switch 2 or does it have improvements ?

It's exactly the same as it was. At best, loading times might be a bit faster.

GVC tested it out and from memory I think they were playing at 25fps or a bit higher from memory, but said the resolution was bit fuzzy because of the split screen.

What do we reckon the chances are that we'll see Nintendo allow Switch 1 games to be played in docked mode on Switch 2 undocked?

A lot of S1 games are 1080p docked so would look great on Switch 2's screen.

I'm not sure I can see Nintendo being that charitable though...

I think they can do that but you will have to wait years haha

I heard Bayonetta 3 runs at a smooth 60fps on the Switch 2.

Yeah 60FPS stable with no drops for Bayonetta 3 on SW2

Sadly, it's not a straight forward 1:1 conversion really. Handheld mode requires UI/text elements to be shrinked and modified to accommodate with the smaller screen they were played on.

You'd need individual updates for games to make something like this available.

I dont agree not even a slight, its a great feature but its not mind boggling(thats what a massive difference should do at least in my eyes)

The switch2 is just a beefier switch1 just like a ps5 is a beefier ps4.

A slight/minor difference in quality

The vast majority of successor consoles ever made are just a beefier version of their predecessor.

PS2 was just a beefier PS1, PS3 a beefier PS2, PS4 a beefier PS3, Xbox Series a beefier Xbone which was was a beefier 360 which was a beefier OC Xbox, etc.

The step up in power from Switch 1 to Switch 2 is not remotely slight/minor:

Sorry but again i see a slight difference.

Ps1 to ps2 whas a massive difference

Ps2 to ps3 whas a  massive difference.

After that every console gen whas a slight beefier upgrade.

Not massive.

Not WOOW omg look at that!!!
