For the longest time, it appeared as though MarioKart was the uncontested champion of kart racers; however, it was revealed this morning that a new competitor would be entering the arena: Garfield Kart 2 — All You Can Drift. Personally, I don’t see this game posing much of a threat to MarioKart, though Garfield and his cult-like following will certainly send this game’s sales to unprecedented success. Especially with the $80 price tag on MKWorld, I could see consumers start to turn over to Garfield for kart racing fun.
