The aesthetic looks really good and I love From Soft, even though I won't be buying Switch 2 I would be glad that a new From Soft game was on it apart from one thing, it's a full multiplayer game like Night Rein. I don't know why they are following this path or if it will lead them to ruin but God I hope people don't support this. I hope night reign fails too.

Well, I have bad news to you, because its impossible to nightreign be a failure.

As long as they don't put in micro transactions and start making money that way they may not be lost to us just yet but Night Reign is the blueprint as the beginning of the end in most cases. Two MP games and that makes me wonder if it's just a project made for the fans or if they want to see if they can get their foot in with praise and then start shifting through wallets on the next MP outting.

Think about it, they won't listen to fans and give a sequel to Bloodbonrne or if they are bound legally a spiritual successor not to mention Sekiro a 10 million selling game but then they do this for ER and make what looks like a Bloodborne spiritual successor a MP game... yeah, FromSoft are probably on the road BGS and many others took, it's not always one to one but the destination is always the same.

Dont Worry, Nightreign will not have Microtransactions, and I think Duskbloods will not have too, mainly because Nintendo dont put Microtransactions in their games, so I think From Software will not put too.

Ah, just saying, but Blooborne is a Sony IP, and if I remember From Software dont publish their games by himself (at least worldwide). Demon Souls and Bloodborne was published and owned by Sony, Souls series and Elden Ring was published by Bandai Namco, Sekiro was published by Activision and now Duskbloods by Nintendo (From Software will publish the game in Japan).

Crazy to think, this is likely a title that will push a lot of core gamers of other platforms onto the Switch 2 just because of the FromSoftware cult like fanatics.

Yeah I imagine this will sell quite a few Switch 2s; not as much as a first party megaton like Mario Kart obviously, but given From's zealous following I think this could tip a number of people into "buy" territory.

Not my thing personally, but it was a very smart move by Nintendo to secure this.

Tbh after watching the gameplay videos of NR I can see what FS are potentially trying to capture in this title and NR, if anyone has played the Diablo games that's the vibe I'm getting from NR with the free wondering about and party emphasis which could also be what DB is also going for but from another angle.
