Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Switch 2 Physical Game List

for those who want a physical copy of harry potter, you can get the switch version on a discount (most likely) and pay 10$ i think and update to the Switch 2 version.

I don't like Game Key Cards the only thing they have over digital is the ability to sell your games if you don't like or get tired of them. I was hoping I could do what I did with the Switch 1 and get physical games via Play Asia but even games in the Asia region are on Game Key Cards. There is no reason for me to buy CP2077 again but I am just because they actually put the game on the cartridge.

This is an awesome thread and list. No interest in Game Key Cards unless they're a better deal than eShop sales.
You bet I'll get most retail games physical again like I did with Switch. Mario Kart World I might get digitally if I decide to get the bundle pending on its availability.

List updated.

Get's more depressing with each update.

Nintendo needs to grow a pair of balls and cut out this stupid GAME-KEY-CARD.

Switch 2 wil be my last Nintendo console at this rate, just can't collect games like I used to be able anymore. Loosing interest fast.

Scrapping the game-key card would only result in code-in-the-box.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

Would probably be better. At least then publishers would have to use the 64GB to have a physical version.

scrap that too. it should be illegal to sell that in a physical box.

They always have to use a game card to have a physical version. By now it's clearly established that game-key cards aren't seen as physical games.

Maybe not by consumers, but Nintendo do describe them as physical games.

I've never played a Rune Factory game before. I bought the game for Switch 2 just because it was on the cartridge. I'm glad I did. I've been playing the hell out of this game.
