Which Switch 2 Game Are You Looking Forward To The Most?
Donkey Kong Bananza | 126 | 20.49%
Drag X Drive | 3 | 0.49% | |
The Duskbloods | 29 | 4.72%
Hades 2 | 19 | 3.09% | |
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment | 24 | 3.90%
Kirby Air Riders | 12 | 1.95%
Mario Kart World | 182 | 29.59%
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond | 204 | 33.17%
Nintendo Switch Welcome Tour | 16 | 2.60%
Total: | 615 |
Out of those ones:
1. Donkey Kong
2. Mario Kart
3. The Duskbloods
Reality:
1. Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate
2. Final Fantasy 7 Remake
3. Donkey Kong
4. Breath of the Wild Switch 2 Edition
5. Civilization 7
6. Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Edition
7. Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition
8. Hitman
9. Mario Kart
10. Duskbloods
11. Star Seeker
12. The Bond game
13. Professor Layton
14. Rune Factory
15. Silksong
16. Wild Hearts S (perhaps higher, once I learn more)
And, I totally expect this list to be mostly replaced over the course of the next 6 months as more gets announced. Xenoblade Chronicles X Switch 2 Edition is a major one I expect. Plus more FF7 stuff, and perhaps FF Tactics (the real one).
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
By the end of the year I expect to have:
Mario Kart World
Donkey Kong Bananza
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
Pokemon Legends Z-A
Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition
Silksong
And some other indies to round out the really great looking first year.
My Console Library:
PS5, Switch, XSX
PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360
3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android
Mario Kart World and Elden Ring. I would say Metroid Prime 4 but likely I'll just end up getting that on Switch as I won't be buying a Switch 2 possibly for years now unless Nintendo rectifies their mistake and fixes their whole next-gen pricing strategy. Hades 2 I bet will be cool too but I still need to play through my copy of Hades.
Donkey Kong Bananza. It's time the title character of Nintendo's first big arcade hit in North America got back in the spotlight.
Definitely Mariokart, it looks so big and the new characters are funny.
After that Id say Prime 4, it has me interested and looks stunning on Switch 2 version
Actually, Drag X Drive, I always tend to like those more special games. My First Switch game was Snipperclips, for instance. Mario Kart World is a close second, though.
Other than those and not featured on the list, are Rune Factory (I'm a sucker for this series), and the Switch 2 version of Tears of the Kingdom, as I haven't played it yet. Fast Fusion is also on the to-buy-list, as I thoroughly enjoyed FAST Racing Neo on my Wii U.

DK, Mario Kart, Metroid are the big ones. Hades 2 and Tears of the Kingdom (as I still haven't played that game), though it seems a bit more gimmicky and puzzle-y than Breath of the Wild which I'm not as into, so I'm not as hyped for that one.

The story and new powers for Link more than make up for the gimmicks. ^^
