Hate the way DK looks. Love the gameplay.

I like how DK looks tbh. The DKC model just looks creepy in Mario Kart and Mario Sports games.

Looks like the Mario Movie Donkey Kong and more expressive than past DKs.

I remember really wishing for a game like this back on the Wii. I don't want it as much anymore, but I am definitely excited, it looks cool.

Like many others, don't really like DK's design but what can you do. Really hope that they bring in some other Kong family members, at least Diddy and Dixie!

I like how expressive DK is now, so don’t mind his redesign at all. But I feel like they went a bit too far from the DK setting aesthetic. The world reminded me more of Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey than something you would think Donkey Kong lived in. I always picture tropical and jungle landscapes. Which there was a very brief snippet of that.

I’m hopeful it turns out to be good! Been way too long since a proper 3D DK game!

Mario Kart World, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond, and Donkey Kong Bananza are day one purchases for me.

Though I do hope we’ll see Diddy Kong make an appearance in the game, or any other DKC characters, like Cranky Kong, But from a visuals and gameplay perspective, I really like what has been shown so far.

I think the game actually looks good. DK's design is different but that really doesn't really bother me for some reason. What matters is the game is fun.

The game itself looks basically like Odyssey 2 they just opted to make Donkey Kong the main character this time instead of Mario. Again makes sense, people don't understand giving DK his own theme park area is a huge, huge deal for Nintendo (possibly his own movie at some point?). They were always gonna do something big with the Donkey Kong IP after that, I thought maybe the next Mario 3D game might have DK playable in it, but looks like they went with DK in his own game. Obviously Mario will get his own.

This game is a day-one purchase for me. Was a huge fan of Banjo, and this seems to take inspiration from it, as well as from obviously DK 64, Jungle Beat and DKCR, all great games, and also even seems to have Mario Odyssey DNA, which is Nintendo's top tier work. So I am very excited about this and it's a day-1 purchase, and I rarely do that, last time I did that was Skyward Sword almost 14 years ago.
