I just hope the free-roam will be able to itch the exploration goodness I got out of Go Vacation.

One of those games that reviewers panned, but players liked (64/8.0 on Meta for Wii version). I remember it fondly on Wii, it was quite fun, with balance board and all.

Even bad games sometimes have good ideas.

Value is in the eye of the beholder.

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

Mario Kart Wii and 8 were my go-to party games for the past 17 years, so there's a good chance that I'll be getting thousands of hours of fun and laughs out of this one.

In that sense, I'm sure I'll get my money's worth.

True my Switch says I have 550 hours of game time in MK8  about  0.14c an hour minus the cost of the switch. So I'm sure I'll get more out of the next game with it's open world concept and plus my kids who will most likely be playing it. I'm  sure as hell not giving them a phone or a tablet to watch YouTube.

Finally got the chance to play this!

After 11 long years since MK8, boy does it feel good to sink my teeth into an all new Mario Kart.

Outside of the connected world, the series fundamentals are pretty much the same as before, just with some nice tweaks such as wall riding.

The series is definitely as fun as ever here, and it feels polished to the sparkling sheen one would expect of a top shelf Nintendo game.

After taking it slow and doing 1 cup per day to make it last, I finally finished.

What a ride. Rainbow Road especially was truly epic, and the whole thing was just so brimming with whimsy and fun.

Definitely the best Nintendo game since Mario Bros Wonder back in 2023.

Anyone else playing?
