Bafflingly, the game has failed to gain any wave from the European or American evening, begging the question how many players will this game gain over the weekend? Predictions?

All time peak for Ofyssey was only 62k right? I guess Shadows will peak in 50-55k range
This is pretty good I think, most of AC fanbase is probably on consoles

Yeah, I'm also pretty certain most of AC's fanbase is on console.
But also correct, Odyssey peaked at 62k and is the highest peak for an AC title, Valhalla is the best selling/performing AC title ever but it released late on Steam. Odyssey and Origins performed great for Ubisoft but I'm not sure how the ranking goes for which performed better. AC Shadows so far has peaked at 41k. Thread feels premature, it released on a Thursday (12:01 AM) and weekends are almost always higher. Having said that, I really dislike the obsession with Steam CCU for every single game going lately, Lol.
Shadows has exceeded 1m players not even 24 hours from launch, AC Odyssey according to Tom Henderson's day one player numbers were between 400-450k and as per an Ubisoft press release, Valhalla doubled Odyssey's player numbers for launch day, I think it's "safe" to say that Shadows is performing somewhere between Odyssey and Valhalla, a little ahead of Odyssey, below Valhalla, maybe.
But Valhalla was the perfect storm that Shadows would never have beaten, it had the COVID lockdown, cross-gen, first AC on next gen, one of the first AAA RPGs on next gen and there was a lot of hype behind it off the back of Origins and Odyssey. Having said all that, Shadows is doing good so far Imo. All of the open-world ACs have been a success and it seems to be tracking alongside those.

No wonder, I've been watching the charts confounded wondering what was going on cause it passed 1 million in sales so one would think people were buying and not booting it. There is no way to gauge this title so, that's annoying cause there is zero way to gauge reception by the public also cause the anti woke people are too loud. 5k mostly 5 stars on PSN but that was at 2k mostly 5 stars before the game launched.
