I still have my N64 and Game Boy Color - but havent touched either in years as well.

No point due to ports, remakes and availability.

That’s a surprising number! Although I’m curious as to how accurate that is because there’s no way of knowing who has these kinds of systems without sending out a mass survey for an extended period of time.

While not 20th century systems, I still have my Xbox and GameCube because Retro Fighters created wireless controllers for the original systems. And it’s made me excited to play on them again! So I think companies that make a living on making something for older systems to help with their longevity is helping keep the retro scene alive.

I still have my older systems, but I don't use them as much. So many of the games are available on Switch and PS5. Mario, Zelda, the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters, the PS1 FF games, Dragon Quest, Metroid, Goldeneye are all on there. Even a lot of my Gamecube favorites made their way to modern systems, like Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos, and A Wonderful Life.

I do.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

North American posters:  "I still have these systems."

Other posters:  "I can't believe this is true.  There must be something wrong with the survey."

OT - it's a surprising result and I wonder if it would be even higher if TV connectors were more compatible.
