The PS5 increased somewhat, probably due to Wilds getting close and the 2nd beta. Also nice to see It Takes Two in the top 10 again, that game deserves every single sale it gets.

Hope Hazelight next game will be just as good as It Takes Two. We always need more devs that can put out games like these.

Anywoo, the Switch stays beasting like it has no business to while Mario Party Jamboree is comfortably still in its top spot for ... How many consecutive weeks on top has it been now ?

While I do prefer the vibe and aesthetic of It Takes Two so far I'm still definitely really excited for Split Fiction and I hope it's good enough to be a GOTY nominee even if it winning would be a huge long shot due to how stacked this year should be. If they manage to surpass It Takes Two in quality then my goodness it'll be quite extraordinary.

Once the Switch 2 comes out, I wonder if the Switch 1 is still going to be pounding the PS5 every week.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the Switch 1/PS5 match up was neck and neck in Japan after the Switch 2 launched. We are getting rumblings of the PS6 and I'm still waiting for the PS5 gen to start.

Well, PS5 now having 3 games in the top 10 has possibly also has something to do with it.

It Takes Two making the top 10 nearly two and a half years after its release is damn good for a Western game in Japan, and well deserved.

I expect annual Switch sales to be higher than annual PS5 sales for every year going forward.

Not much different from last week since the two PS5 games in the top 10 sold more in total than the three this week but maybe it had a little impact.
