I think the graphics agre great and so is the story and voice acting, but medieval period is just boring and overused and the gameplay loops looks really annoying with the realistic stamina mechanics

I think I will play it when it gets a discount

How often do we get realistic medieval settings? We get a lot of medieval fantasy, but this game just puts you in the shoes of a person living in medieval Europe. No dragons or saving the world like Witcher or Dragon Age, or anything like that.

Havent played it yet but the combat is apparently much more forgiving and enjoyable than the first. It certainly felt like a chore in the first one lol

Is noone on here playing?

I’ve got the game installed but I don’t typically like to jump into a new game without beating a previous game lol. Just about done with 100% run of Indiana Jones, then I’ll hop into Deliverance 2!

It took me an extra day to finish the first game; it wouldn't let me get the final cutscene until I helped Hans with his dumb DLC quest.

But yeah, I've been playing for the last couple days. Loving most of the changes-- the combat in particular seems slowed down, but it's now a lot more functional and fair. I haven't been in many big fights to know for sure yet though.

I'm finishing up another game first before I go full force on this. I've finished the tutorial, wondering can I go off now and do what I want or will there be repercussions for not following the path aroubd the wedding. Will the main scenario give me Lee way to go off the beaten path for a bit, like?

Same as you, FF16 is at 87%. I really wanna jump on this but I'm compelled to finish FF16 for the story, shit RPG and mediocre game but man the story and characters are great.

I'd recommend following the main quest until just after you arrive at Semine and do the first quest there. A) It's freaking fun and hilarious, Old Lord Semine is an absolute Chad, and B) it let's you get an easy/cheap horse, some decent plate armour, some ranged weapons (if you know where to look) and a sword trainer. After that you can go off and do what you want, you shouldn't have to rush to the wedding yet (I haven't gotten there because I've been exploring and side-questing).

I was doing a lot of side-questing at first, but it was getting a bit tedious because I didn't have a horse, my gear was shit and I was struggling to make groschen; especially coming straight from the first game where I had enough groschen to open a bank. When I finally got back to the main questline and realised all the things I needed were right there, I felt like an idiot, so that's my advice from hindsight. Everything has gone a lot smoother for me since.

Nice one, was about to make the same mistake, your sacrifice will not go in vain. Thank you my friend.

The music in the game is unbelievable. Since the intro ran, I've thought a lot about it...

Life as Sir Hans Capon:

-Lead Henry on another envoy quest for Sir Otto
-See bandits obviously disguised as monks on the side of the road (related to an active quest)
-Brazenly trot past them
-Watch them ambush Henry and do nothing
-Henry kills them all 1v4, leaves the last one alive to track their main camp
-Henry cleans the camp out and collects the leader's weapon for the quest
-Meet Henry on the road back after noon
-Scold Henry for leaving you waiting too long and screwing up the mission
-Tell him not to be late trying again tomorrow morning

Sorry Sir Hans for disappointing you, as usual. Yours truly, this humble peasant.

Taking queues from Braveheart. Love it! Just finished a new PC build yesterday, so I can’t wait to experience this game this week.
