Would have been announced by now of it were to happen on 16. It is nighttime in Japan.

EDIT: Though I guess maybe 16 in America would make it 17 in Japan and they’d announce it in their morning, so okay sure lets give it a while longer.

There is always the off-chance that Nintendo may not do the reveal this thursday precisely because it was leaked, even though it was actually planned for the 16th.

I wouldn’t put it past them. It’s what I would do too. We’d never know though.

I don't think its necessarily going to be a presentation/direct if they if they're not showing games. It'll just be a video/press release, so there won't be a pre-announcement

Switch OLED and Switch Lite trailers were just shadow dropped, I wouldn't be surprised if they just do the same thing again. I wouldn't necessarily be counting on a "Mario curtain" tweet.
