Platinum No.12. Bright Memory: Infinite at 5 hours. Game 6/10. Difficulty 2/10. Overall Plat 5/10.

Surprisingly fun plat. Despite what it says online you only need to do two playthroughs now on the second highest and highest difficulty or, play on normal and then chapter select the last chapters to get those trophies but since you'll have to farm stuff after that might as well play the two and enjoy it cause it is a fun game and the second playthorugh is more fun with skill unlocks. Game feels like they went about making a game but hit budget constraints and polished up what they could, the story is not once explained and characters appear like you are supposed to know them, that gives this impression. Regardless, game is fun and I wouldn't want it longer but I would want an option to skip the cutscenes. The highest difficulties bosses can be trivialised once you realise a certain skill is spammable and really OP. I'd rate it a 7 at its sale price if it wasn't for the constant screen tearing, technical issues and if there was just that bit of extra but of polish and tuning but for less than a tenner on sale it's damn decent, mindless fun.

I liked Bright memory a lot! Game was made by one person.

So after slogging though SaGa Frontier, I took a week off to come back and do ... Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song. Guest I didn't get enough SaGa. I'm expecting this trophy to be over 100 hours. I may also end up situation like @LegitHyperbole; Apparently the super is incredibly difficult to point where a lot players were not able to plat the game. Challenge taken.

My bad for late updates. Power prick to laptop died I guess? So I had to order another one.

I've had trophies before where I got to 97% and I couldn't plat, it wasn't the end of the world cause I had great fun trying. Like doing a real time 24 hour race in Project CARS for example, which could be done by leaving the console idol but that's a really stupid thing to ask of me for a trophy and I refuse to do it because of the absurdity of it. We should try anyway and be thankful for the fun, if we aren't platinuming for the fun what's the point, it would be an insanely stupid waste of time to get platinums for the sake of getting the actually trophy even at the cost of fun or somthing you can't or you really don't wanna do that is out of the realm of reason. I'll be happy with high 90's if I can't pop it and happy with whatever progress I make should the game loose it's fun factor.

If I get stopped at 90%-99% over something out of my control I’ll accept it, corrupted persistent data on your account for a game is unfortunately something that could happen. For example the UK version of Night In The Woods on my old PS account is simply not possible to Platinum even after 25+ playthroughs and 100hrs and deleting all saves, playing on a completely different PS4. Good thing the US version used the same trophy stack but different account data.

But if it’s just a skill issue I’ll just take a break for awhile then revisit it. What annoys me more than anything is seeing a game I didn’t like not being at 100%! And this year I’ve not only played some absolute garbage (Animal Well, We Are OFK, Life is Strange Double Exposure) I’ve also played the worst game I’ve ever played (JETT: The Far Shore) and not seeing something I hated not at 100% is an insult 🤣

You're a masochist. Idk what you're gonna do when you have 300 games and you're just doing DLC, no time for games you enjoy.

Got to the second region of Khazan on both NG and NG+ for the normal difficulty run. NG+ is definetly more "difficult" than NG in that you take more damage and the enemies are tougher but it's just more fun to have the skill set and there's more freedom in building with the stat points so I'm gonna take a chance and run with the more fun one and hope for the best with the final fight. I figure I will make a cloud save before the end boss, kill him on normal with two phases and pop that trophy and then reload, fullfil the true ending reuirments and drop to easy for the three phase fight. No matter what I do here it's gonna be rough at the end, even fighting the boss again on easy would be rough so I'm choosing fun on the way there over just rethreading ground.

I'm at the first boss of the second region and he was the easiest boss of the game the first time around but this is my first roadblock, fucker one shots with some attacks, I'm 10 levels under the suggested but fucked if I'm going grinding since levels mean shit all apart from getting a better weapon that does slightly more damage and a very slight difference, I'll make up those levels with side conent when it starts to drop a few more missions. I musta "got gud" though cause I only died to the Spider boss prior to this and a few stupid deaths due to posture breaks on the NG run. Ng+ is so much fucking fun though, I won't even be mad if I get roadblocked, despite the "difficulty" my character is basically a DMC character now and I have so much depth of combos it's crazy, not as much depth as Nioh 2 with the stance switching but way more agility which is crazy cause this games worst aspect is it's stanima system, they really should allow for players to express what they've created here instead of limiting things artificially just so it can be called a soulslike. I hope they change their mind on this and open up the stanima and provide skill points more frequently, at any rate it just takes some building to get around but that limits the way you can build in other ways. Still bonkers fun.

Can anyone recommend a really fun, relatively short but not too short Platinum? Something in the range of 6-12 hours. Something with a gameplay focused genre. Doesn't have to have a good story, just good engaging gameplay. I just had to but a shit ton of paint and my gaming budget has already surpassed what it should be gor the month, I want something to chew through while I'm still playing Khazan and Unicorn Overlord for 100%, I have Scars Above installed but it's just not sticky.

Can anyone vouch for Awaken: Astral Blade at 14 euro sale? I see Dungeons of Hinterburh there too but that's a longer affair it seems. Turbo Overkill is also stretching it at 25 hours, which I own and I have a game called Iron Meat too for some reason but I don't trust it cause of higher difficulty trophies and I want something fairly manageable.

🤨🧐…. 🤓 I understand the assignment

1. Viewfinder - Perception based puzzling with an overarching story that’s fairly interesting. 6hrs minimum.

2. Caravan Sandwich - Small open world with secrets and side questing with a focus on pushing the story forward. One of my favourite indie games I’ve played this gen. Super peaceful and a rewarding gameplay loop. Around 6hrs.

3. Selfloss - Small story focused indie with heavy Slavic inspiration. Around 8hrs.

4. Wanderstop - Charming cozy about making tea and really slowing down and finding a sense of purpose. Creator of the Stanly Parable. Real nice gameplay loop. 10hrs.

5. Cosmic Star Heroine - Western JRPG inspired indie that’s one of the best in the genre. 10-12hrs.

Final Fantasy 1. Very smooth, non stressful plat.

I should probably add that I'm currently playing Dragon Age: Veilguard. Might be quite a while until I finish it.

Oh and Sonic Colours: Ultimate
