I'm sure my next game is going to be Visons of Mana but not 100% sure. Next big game down the line is going to be Dragon's Dogma.

DD:DA or DD2? It’s a shame DD2 never got the Dark Arisen treatment (which is basically a re-released version of DD1 with QOL features and the DLC) coz Dark Arisen is one of the best expansions ever, heck DD:DA is one of the greatest games of all time and even today is still significantly better than DD2. 

It will be Dark Arisen.

Dude! I don't think I've read anything positive about DD2. In a way I'm playing DD:DA to prepare for DD2 in the future but shit, I may just call it wrap after DA.

If you want to enjoy DD2 for a bit, I'd recommend it. If you wanna finish DD2, I'd recommend you think twice but if you wanna plat DD2, I'd recommend you to stay well clear of it, get it out of your head. Think 300 hours of misery and even then you may be a few trophies away from what I've seen. 

Tf. I plat DD2 in 65hrs with zero rushing. 

DD2’s biggest problem is that if you’ve played DD1 then you’ve played DD2 coz it doesn’t do anything new (minus including a zero damaging class, that I actually used exclusively when I unlocked it. It’s a pretty good class) it’s such a safe sequel that misses some of the QOL features Dark Arisen included like the infinite ferry stone (fast travel item) … I’d play it if you really want more DD but it’s just that.. just a really pretty DD.

So I did some more research; DD2 is not really a sequel but the game that Itsuno wanted to do the first time? Assuming that is true, if I play DD DA then play DD2, How much is the same? Do I need to play DD1?

Mechanic and gameplay wise they play pretty much the same.  Story wise (whilst I do prefer DD:DA’s) they’re pretty different, DD2 is far more grander in scope in that regard. Yeah you definitely should, DD:DA is a great game. You’ll probably play them back to back anyway coz beating DD:DA is gonna leave you wanting more DD! I’ve never played them back to back, I experienced both pretty much a decade apart so it’ll be interesting what you think. 

@thread: My next I’m doing is Wuchang Fallen Feathers which is so far pretty ok.

Dragon Ruins done!. Plat difficulty 1/10

* Minimalist RPG for tired people
* Exploration is fun with the minimalist look
* Great character/enemy designs
* Small but really good soundtrack.
- Once you pick your 4 starting classes your stuck with them even on future runs.
- Every run the Dragon gets stronger. All other encounters remain the same.
- Classes matter as much as the do in Demon's Souls(just decide starting stats) I wish they each had some kind of perk(does more damage to this type, low HP ATK+ ect)

Without a shadow of a doubt that was the hardest soulslike I’ve ever played by a fucking mile. Imagine Bloodborne and Ninja Gaiden had a love child and you get Wuchang FF.
