How often do you floss

Every day 6 24.00%

Almost every day 5 20.00%

Every other day 2 8.00%

Once or twice a week 4 16.00%

About a couple times a month 4 16.00%

Just before seeing the dentist 0 0%

Only when the dentist does it for me 0 0%

I can't remember the last time I flossed 2 8.00%

I flossed a few times as ... 0 0%

I don't think I've ever flossed 2 8.00%

Total:25

Curious how often the gaming populating flosses their teeth. For the past month or so I've been flossing 3-4 times a week on top of water flossing. Before that I would floss maybe 3 times a year, but my girlfriend brought up my stinky breath on a few occasions and that made me self-conscious.

Bad breath won't be cured with flossing.

Flossing will help prevent tooth decay and hard built up on your teeth.

I used to o it once a week, Now it be daily.

Well then what can I do to help my bad breath? I'm down to try anything

Edit - I'm not assuming you're a dentist or anything, just looking for tips. Please and thank you.

There is any reasons for bad breath.

A lot of people have it when they wake up, which probably means they got dry mouth and need to hydrate more.

But generally speaking, brush your teeth twice a day, floss to ensure plaque no build up on your teeth. If your tongue is white, maybe need to get a tooth brush with a tongue cleaner on the back. Maybe mouth wash to kill bacteria.

If cleaning doesn't help an the bad breath is there, perhaps something is lodged in your tonsils area that is infected with bacteria.

Perhaps get your teeth checked for decay (jaw x ray). I couldn't feel pain but had decay which got infected and caused some bad breath.

Flossing can help with bad breath if you often have food stuck inbetween your teeth, but typically your best bet on tackling breath is:
-Mouthwash
-Hydrating often
-Eating a balanced fibre rich diet (sometimes yeast bacteria builds for people who eat tons of proccessed carbs)
-Checking for any underlying health issue including virus/bacterial infection on your or surrounding areas like throat etc.

I only floss like 2x a week unless I eat something where I feel gets stuck between my teeth. I gargle mouthwash a similar amount, or use it daily when I'm reacting to any weird symptons I get like tooth/gum aches, weird tastes, smells (sign of infection or bacteria build up)

I dont have any gaps between my teeth, do I even need to?

I brush my teeth twice a day, very rarely 3 times a day. I floss probably about 3-5 days a week. For a while I was great at it and did it daily.
I used to use oral rinses daily but now probably weekly.

I floss almost every night, I may miss a night here or there if I don't get out of bed after sex or if we have a snack in bed and plan to floss after but fall asleep while watching tv.

Twice a day, and as needed. I also use a water pick. Take care of your teeth. The cost to fix them (and the pain associated with losing them) isn’t fun. I didn’t start being super proactive about my dental health until I was in my 30s. Definitely wish I had started earlier.

Don’t forget regular cleanings at the dentist as well. The more you go the less painful it will be in the long run. I recommend at least twice a year.
