Forums - Gaming Discussion - What did you pick up on the Black Friday sales?

I bought Elden Ring for PS5 (have it on PC but the idea is that my girlfriend gets to play it too now). Also a guidebook for the game for the same reason.

Otherwise I'm waiting for the Steam Autumn Sale still so we'll see.

Nice.

I mean the surround sound. Projectors are ass.

Final Fantasy 16

Switch

Could have grabbed Extra for a month for Ravhet and Clank and roll through some other titles too.

So far only got headphones which I could also use for pc gaming Sony WH1000 xm4 and a Google Pixel 8a, which I won't use for gaming.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Only small stuff on PlayStation and Xbox. The 2024 releases are still expensive even with their discounts. I'm not paying $50 for Stellar Blade and $53 for Star Wars Outlaws, I don't want them that badly to where I can't wait longer.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Switch: 161 million (was 73 million, then 96 million, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million, then 156 million)

PS5: 115 million (was 105 million) Xbox Series S/X: 48 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

Nothing on my PS wishlist is on sale lol so nothing unfortunately. Here's to hoping the holiday sale has more in store for me.

I did just find out about the announcement of Titan Quest II though, so I did pick up the anniversary edition of the first Titan Quest game for $5 on PC. Has to be my favorite Non-Diablo ARPG out there and never in a million years thought would get a sequel.

In case you didn't know, the devs behind the original Titan Quest formed a new studio after the demise of Iron Lore, Crate Entertainment, and launched Grim Dawn, which is another diablo-like game. I'd advise to get the two story expansions it has.

OT: I got nothing yet. There hasn't been a BF deal that I haven't seen before in other sales. We'll see if that changes when Steam's Black Friday sorry, Autumn Sale kicks off this Thursday.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Stellar Blade is worth it. Hell, it's worth it at full price. That game is fucking amazing. It's spoiled me so much that Spiderman 2 feels vanilla and bland.

It's on the list, I did enjoy the demo. Not that $50 is crazy but I can't justify it right now. I know it will probably go on sale for $30-$40 in 2025.
