Stellar blade is so fucking cool. I'm in love. How is this game so underrated, WuKong must be something else when people are saying go for that over this, I haven't been this excited about an action game since GoW 2005 blew my mind, ya it's not as evolutionary here but all it's parts definitely make it something unique and so much fun. You can re challenge bosses as well and get rewarded for it, something all these games including soulsborne need to implement. 

And then there is just the standard enemies which are kinda like mini bosses when you first encounter them. I'd love to know how much of a skill issue this is for casuals.

The exploration is fantastic too, the vibe is stellar, loads of systems to upgrade and third person shooting mechanics! Gear is cosmetic but given the style of the game you wanna grind for it and the graphics are pretty impressive too. Music is oddly fitting towards the vibe if a bit over used.

Horizon Dawn Frozen Wilds was great, finished the DLC last night. Tonight I'll be back to the Burning shores.

Stellar Blade at an 82 on Opencritic, wtf. I bet if the main character was a butch, fugly women this'd be in the 90's.

Alternating between M&L Brothership and Romancing SaGa 2 Revenge of the Seven is my jam. Will do that until I finish one of them to include the remake of DQ III into the rotation. It's an RPG kind of holiday for me haha.

As for Brothership, it definitely goes for a slower pace ride early on, unlike most of the previous titles actually. But after the first boss, the game has finally found its groove. As for the critics, some of them going on after the tutorials and the hand-holding were probably either impatient or smoking cracks. Though I understand the concern about the early game, it's just that the game does go past it and definitely improves as it goes.

There's really an art I appreciate about RPGs that aren't willing to give you everything on a silver plater and overwhelm a player during it's opening act and instead cruises you through for better payoff later on.

On the other hand, Romancing SaGa 2 is the modernized quintessence of an old school RPG taking a new form and finally shining after getting all the bells and whistles it couldn't have back then on the SNES. It's incredibly approachable for newcomers but it doesn't forgo the difficult original experience. The game has one of the most unique free flowing progression I played in an RPG
Honestly, I'd say it is amongst the best 3 games I played this year so far.

That's wild, it beats everything else outta the water. I see PC titles that people say look better like Space Marine 2 and.... nah. This it it right here until the next Sony girst party title. 

Killer is Dead 360 through BC on Series X. I had the CE I bought 2 years ago on a shelf sealed. Broke open the seal to play it. I love SUDA51 ones game from Silver Case to Killer 7 to No More Heroes and NMH remains my fave series of his. I like Killer is Dead so far. It's closer to Killer 7 in oddity which the more odd SUDA is the better IMO. But it does have some NMH immaturity with the Gigolo missions. I love it when things are strange. Almost nonsensical and he doesn't bother to explain it. You just accept it in his game and it works.

I'd recommend people to stay clear of Dragons Dogma 2, it is not anything close to it's high Opencritic and more in line with its MC user score, perhaps less.

Right now I'm gonna boot up Spiderman 2 for the first time this evening.

Instead of Dragons Dogma 2, you should be playing Rise of the Ronin. You seemed to enjoy Nioh 2 and Wolong at least, so another similar but different game from the same developers.
