Bayonetta 1 is a blast. I have Bayonetta 3 sitting on my switch but no urge to boot it up yet.

Bayo 3 has different vibes. It's kinda odd but still a great game. None of the games have a great story and 3 is no different. Still fun as hell. Not the best-performing Switch game tho.

Oh I'm in gor the gameplay, nothing else. Not like they really make sense anyway.

PoE2 and marvel rivals are great. Having a lot of fun with both

Gonna tey Marval Rivals, I'd rather be playing PoE2 but for 28 euro with 1000ms lag. Can't justify it.

We tried unraveled 2 today thinking it was a co-op game. It doesn't work at all with 2 players. 1 star.

So we went back to Lego Horizon which keeps growing on us. However also there, the lack of split-screen can get annoying in big battles, constantly dragging one of us to the other side. Can't be strategic if you have to stay on top of each other :/

Why is it that modern consoles can't do split-screen anymore...

Oh, I had fairly good experience with Unravel 2 in local coop. It's not up there with Trine or Overcooked for me, but I quite enjoyed it.

We initially couldn't even get past the 2nd obstacle. Still no clue how we eventually did get past it (after 20 minutes fumbling), somehow we only managed to launch ourselves back into the ocean (glitch?) repeatedly trying to use that log to get up. Then the next section was platforming on narrow ledges, that's hard enough when not tethered to another player. (So just carry the other player, merge, making it a single player game)

So to keep our marriage intact, we switched back to Lego :p

My wife's verdict, Half an hour of my life I'll never get back. At least it was only a couple bucks in the BF sale.

Overcooked is a good suggestion, should be a good laugh playing together. It's already in the game library according to psn, Overcooked 2 is on sale (in a bundle with the first one) but I see opinions are divided on what's better. (first harder more unforgiving, second runs better but less focused more clutter)

I'd really love to know how you and your wife would handle Divinity OS 1 or 2. It could bring you two together in a big way over the Christmas if you were to play or you could be divorcing next year. Could go either way. 😆

Yeah, Unravel is bit tricky with both of you being tied together. As I said, I find it quite enjoyable, but then again I've played it with my son who is quite good in platforming games, so we had no problem there.

IIRC, your wife is not that skilled with gamepad, and believe me, mine is probably much, much worse, but she liked Chariot quite a bit and had no problem playing that - if you haven't already played it and you're looking for descent puzzle solving platformer.

Both Overcooked games are great, but they really call for some good gamepad skills, given how hectic they can be - I love them, but unfortunately they're way above my wife's gamepad skills, so I've only played them with my kids and my brother (4p local coop).

Just replaying the Mass Effect Legendary Trilogy again. So far two/three plats done. Never been the biggest fan of the third game but playing them straight through back to back I can appreciate some of the changes.

Great games. After playing the first, for the first time I was shocked to find I didn't like the second as much while playing it right after and the third, couldn't even get into it. The first games Platinum is really good, the second game doesn't seem worth it, you just go through the motions and do everything and it makes you pkay a certain way. I wanted to let some party members die but had no intention of doing another run for the platinum.

I'll look for it next time I'm in the store, maybe this afternoon. Full price on PSN atm.
At least it has proper split-screen!

I have Chariot in my PSN library as well, will try!
I remember the name, maybe I already played it (looks familiar), but don't remember playing that together.

And yes, my wife's gamepad skill are also still on the level of which is the square button... She mostly plays PvZ on her phone.

I started a replay of TloU 2 remastered. It looks awesome on the Pro at 60fps. The character detail is a bit behind Horizon, but the attention to fine detail is still unmatched imo. And also still the best implementation of a flash light, feels very real the way the light changes color depending on what you light up, plus perfect shadows on the Pro.

Looks like my PS3 under the TV haha
