As someone who defended Joe Rogan for many many years, screw that guy. However, I'm glad he endorsed Trump, because of Kamala wins, it will only make her victory that more meaningful, so people with inflated ego and partisan hackery slaves like Elon & Rogan can get back to earth before they fuck off to Mars.

meh, if you've really listened to his podcast for many years then you should know of his politics.  It seems rather odd that you would be surprised and so dismayed over this.

This is my map for the elections.

I think that's the best-informed guess I can come up with but either candidate could rake up some wins from the other camp.

I think Georgia and North Carolina  will go GOP - but that would still end on a 270-268 victory for Harris.

But if it came to that result, I fear another January 6 will almost be a certainty, because MAGA will cry foul for sure then.

That's a certainty regardless of whether it's close or a blowout.

To be clear, I don’t regret defending Joe when I defended him, he deserved to be heard and understood back then. And also to be clear, I am not surprised he endorsed Trump, I saw it coming.

Joe has been around for a long while so I probably should’ve been clearer about which era I was referring to.

There was a time when he endorsed Bernie, had people like Kyle Kalinsky and Krystal regularly, and asked his audience to watch their shows repeatedly even when they weren’t guests: that Joe wasn’t a partisan hack, but he’s has  long gone so I am not surprised he endorsed Trump.

@The pi guy: Joe is a lot smarter than the people you listed, and he also built his audience without having to engage in dishonest rhetoric and discussions etc. There was no need for him to take the path he took, unlike the rest who would see their fanbase significantly diminish if they go far off from what their audience is used to.

Disclaimer: I don't actively watch Rogan, I've seen bits and pieces.

I think Rogan is definitely a right winger, but I don't think he's a partisan hack the way that Tucker Carlsen, Elon Musk and a lot of other people are.

I don't think that's a particularly meaningful distinction when it comes to the election, but I think there's a difference in rhetoric. There have been times where he will push back against right wing talking points.

I think he's a bit more suggestible than a centrist who's actually an extreme right winger.

I feel like this is getting more confusing as I type it. But I feel like there's a whole spectrum of this. Somewhere to the right of an actual centrist, and to the left of a Tucker Carlsen or something.

I agree, I also don’t watch/listen to his show outside of small clips but I don’t think he’s a partisan hack in the sense of Tucker Carlson. To me, he’s always seemed more like a libertarian type of guy who is interested in conspiracy theories.

He’s also a rich, straight, white guy so the issues affecting the middle class or topics of race, sex and gender don’t directly apply to him and are easy to ignore.

Basically I think he’s an idiot but I don’t he’s some far right goon either.

So who here is voting Kamala and whose voting Trump?

Why do you care? You can't go a week without your tired tinfoil nihilism about the country being fucked either way.

Cause it fucks us in Europe too. If Trump dissolves NATO for example or Kamala continuing the current support for Isreal chasing the missle East to go to ruins and asylum seeker flooding Europe. When America is failing, the West is failing. It's not just abut the US and the ridiculously divided country it is right now, US foreign policy effects EVERYONE.

No. Just a phone key pad that doesn't want to seem to accept what I write sometimes and auto changes the words.
