Forums - Politics Discussion - 2024 US Presidential Election

This time two weels from tonight we will have the fate pf the world decided. Probably the most important election in the history of elections, big stakes and such polar opposite ideals for a world that feels tacked together with sticky tape.

Time Marches on and the age of all new king grows nearer.

Rooting for Trump?

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

You mean WHEN Harris wins. She only needs to win the rust belt swing states, after all.

Life is good there right now, because the Packers, Lions, Eagles and Steelers have winning records, so Trump's doomsaying campaign is clearly at odds with reality.

That's why Harris can afford to lose Nevada and North Carolina, and by the way, she will totally lose these states because the Raiders and Panthers are that awful.

Arizona and Georgia are toss-up states, but based on the recent history of the Cardinals and Falcons, they are much more likely to go to Trump than Harris.

Seriously? Using your logic, Harris is likely to lose California because the 49ers and Rams have losing records and the Chargers are only .500

Nope. Californians know why the teams have the records they have and it's not because of immigrants. Additionally, this is the first time I am hearing that the Chargers have any fans. You really don't know football.

Using your logic: If a NFL team has a winning record right now, its fans are more likely to vote for Harris, whereas if the team has a losing record, then those fans are more likely to vote for Trump.

You live in Austria, right?

Nope. Neither. Both paths are shit and lead to different problems. If I were American I'd abstain from voting. That said, Trump is so erratic he could deter a certain regime from deciding a certain Island nation is theirs to keep. On the other hand Kamalla secures NATO continues. God, it's such a hot mess. You can do pros and cons all day on this and get nowhere.

Actually, I'd vote for that man who wear a welly on his head. He's a better candidate if he's still campaigning these days.

It's an NFL team.

And yes, correct.

Lol, you can’t make this shit up. Those of us normal folks knew Convict Don was deranged, but this is a new low even for him. Antonio Brown, disgraced ex-NFL WR who’s despised all around town for demanding he be traded FROM the Steelers before walking out on every team that ever had the misfortune of picking him up afterwards, is speaking at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania. No, I’m not joking:

I’d say this alone is a telltale sign he lacks the cognitive ability to be president (like we needed any more proof). On NO planet would that be helpful to you, fucking idiot. And he needs PA.

I’m almost NOT ashamed he did this, AB is the perfect MAGA dolt. After all, he, too, is a rapist who boasts of exposing his genitals in public (he was literally caught on video doing just that in a hotel pool a few years ago, I remind you). Just like the guy he’s campaigning for is a liable SAer who boasts of grabbing women by their genitals.

Nice going, Loser Donvict.

That speech oozed cringe out of every pore. Every second of it was a "please laugh" moment... "You guys ever seen a MAGA movie? Well today is a MAGA movie theater." I can't decide what the cringiest part of it was, the fact that he needed to read from his script during the flat "fight, fight fight" chant that no one kept up once he stopped (did he need to read how many times to say the word "Fight" or something?), or the lifeless promotion of the MAGA coin.

That whole thing was more pitiful than Rafael Palmeiro's Viagra ads from a couple of decades ago.

Bunch of stupid fucking questions but Kamala always seemed prepared for the nonsense.

Trump became angry. "It doesn't cost 60,000 bucks to bury a fucking Mexican!" He turned to his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and issued an order: "Don't pay it!" Later that day, he was still agitated. "Can you believe it?" he said, according to a witness. "Fucking people, trying to rip me off."
