For good ol' comparison sake, do we have the FW numbers for FF Remake ?

The number in itself doesn't seem bad but it hasn't break bank either I feel like.

PS5 hardware went up a bit though due to the game probably.
Switch is at about the same it has been for a while, while 3 Mario titles occupies the Top 5

Good to see all three increasing WoW.

The YoY changes for this week (v adjusted 2023 figures):

PS5 -31.3%
NS -39.5%
XS -54.2%

FF VII Remake did 30k first week on PS4.

The PS5 version (Integrade) did 1.1k (no, not a typo) when it launched a year later.

So it's pretty much on par, seems decent considering the userbase and the price increase.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Thanks ! Definitely not the biggest market for these games but I guess my expectation for the western sales of the game will be either status quo or slightly down in comparison to Remake.

Technically, far from bad for a sequel, you could say.

There was a strong incentive to preorder Rebirth digitally, because you get Remake Intergrade for free (Twin Pack, it's how I got it). Digital sales across the board also went up since 2020. Add that PS5 has a digital only SKU to the other two facts, and it's likely that it launched better than Remake in this particular market.

Hopefully a strong word of mouth gives it decent legs.

Would be nice indeed here is hoping it can at least manage to sell 3 million this quarter. In Japan the game bombed pretty hard. So hopefully we hear some good news from the US.

Strong PS5-and Final Fantasy 7 sales figures :)
