Not as bad as your gaslighting of Switch 2 technical threads. At least Godfather III had some fun moments. |

If you don't care, why do you respond every time? Lol, you are funny. |
Boy his posts are just really childish sometimes. It's a freaking gaming forum, we are here to talk about are preferences and dislikes in gaming and hardware. if people would just cream no ones gives a crap about your opinion every time they don't like it it would be a pretty boring discussion. it's just a freaking hardware and not a family member but some people do really get attached to a brand.

The two of you gaslight the same Nintendo threads over and over again and actually prevent any kind of actual hardware discussion because it's bogged down by your spotty understanding of Nintendo's own history and personal tastes that no one cares about. No one goes into XBox Series S threads and takes over threads talking about their personal preferences on frame rate. Why is that?
At some point, people just get tired of it and it's more than fair to call it out. Simple as that.
Not all of us strictly play Nintendo games on Nintendo systems. Some of us do play 3rd party games on the Switch. Some of us are interested in discussing how those games might perform without being yelled down every third post that "it will just be a PS4! You're not allowed to be excited about anything but Nintendo games on it and I'm going to make sure you understand anything below 60 fps is unplayable!". We don't need to hear that opinion 50 times over and over again in technical discussions.

Are you serious? it's a thread asking people to predict where the switch power wise will and that's what we did. Is that gas lighting for you? you are the one trying to force your opinion on everyone by saying no one cares about frame rate and resolution or the opinions of people that care about those things, and every piece of hardware that run the same games is the same generation.

Yes it is gaslighting when it's same shit every thread by two posters 50 times over stating a personal preference. This is not just one Switch 2 tech thread, this is the same thing that happens here in every Switch 2 thread, and it bullshit that you guys do the same for XBox Series S or whatever, you don't. It's only for the Switch 2.
You know perfectly well what you guys are doing and it's blatantly disingenuous, you're not interested in any actual technical discussion, you're upset people might be excited over the Switch 2 hardware and feel you need to spam every 3rd/4th post of any thread discussing the topic. We also need to be constantly reminded apparently that the next Switch will be good just for Nintendo games, as if nothing else could possibly look half way decent on it. You can only be excited about Nintendo games for the Switch 2, if you say anything outside of that, heaven forbid like a 3rd party game's potential on said system, you need to be quickly shot down for whatever reason.
If you present proof of something like Alan Wake II running on a 2050 or a ROG Ally, then it's "well you can't even trust your eyes". Lol. Gimme a break.

Naw if you are mobile gamer switch will differently be great hardware for third party games and Nintendo. For me i'm just making a prediction that it won't match series s and it will 8nm. i think the problem with is you is that you are in love with Nintendo too much its just gaming company man not your wife don't take it so personal.

I don't take it personal, don't flatter yourself.
I'm just calling out repeated gas lighting in the same threads over and over again. You're not just making one prediction either, any time anyone gets too excited about something about the hardware the same two posters magically arrive in the thread as if a Bat signal has gone off to talk it down and then follows like the same posts over and over again.

If said posters are interested in discussion and feel like posters are severely over stating switch 2 capability they have the right to express that opinion as long as its reasonable.

I wonder what ray-tracing modes will be like on Switch 2, particularly in exclusives.
Definitely can see some 720p -> 1080p (DLSS) RT mode locked to 30fps happening for those who care more about pretty features more than image quality or framerate.
I expect there to be more ray-tracing supported titles on the Switch 2 than the Series S even, given Nvidia's involvement.
Would lend itself well to first party titles that have stylized graphics, especially where you don't have as good baked in lighting assets as realistic looking titles.
RTX 2050m tend to do well in earlier ray-tracing titles from 2018-2020 like Control and Battlefield V.

It is an excellent question. For the most part I have not been impressed with RT, hardly at all. I get RT on the ps5 being poor, AMD chipset. But even on the 4070 and 4090 RT, when turning on and off, does not impress me. Maybe I'm trying it out on the wrong games?
Having said that LM5 and proper RT could be cool. Granted I'm not sure what proper RT is.
Edit
I'm happy to take recommendations on what games have impressive RT. I've played through the modern RE games and Halo Infinite, none seemed to have RT that did anything that I could notice.
