Weird that PS5 is so far down from PS4 in Europe.
Guess sending more stock to America came at a price, although it does make sense to prioritise a more contested market.

Xbox by contrast has been neck and neck with its predecessor in Europe, though the current slump puts that at risk.

Yeah, Sony shifted a higher percent of PS5s to the Americas than Europe during the shortages due to having more competition in those regions.

The Xbox One sold 372K and 629K in November and December 2016 in Europe looking at VGChartz estimates. These match up to November and December 2023 for the Xbox Series X|S. So we shall see how well the Xbox Series X|S sells in November and December.

Wow, Xbox Series X/S isn't doing too hot in it's own territory compared to the PS5 (as in Microsoft is an American Corporation while Sony is a Japanese Corporation). Is this just because the PS5 has better exclusives, like Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy 16, God of War: Ragnarok, than the Xbox Series X/S, like Halo Infinite, Starfield? I feel like there are more reasons than just that because the two, Xbox Series X and PS5 have the same specs (in fact Xbox Series X has better specs) with PS5 having better load times. Is it because Sony has been producing movies that give it recognition, so people buy PS5 because they recognize the brand?
Or is it because of a simpler reason like how PS5 is more catchy than Xbox Series X/S, thus it sticks in people more unconsciously indoctrinating people to buy PS5?

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Switch: 160 million (was 120 million, then 140 million, then 150 million)

PS5: 130 million (was 124 million)

Xbox Series X/S: 54 million (was 60 million, then 57 million)

I'd say it's multiple things rather than just one. One thing you didn't mention is the Xbox ecosystem is no longer just the console market as they release all their games day 1 on PC and are growing their presence on mobile as well.
