4. Cities: Skylines II

Nice to see Mario Bros Wonder finish it's run at the top of the list.
Btw, are DLC/expansions eligible for this, or just full games?

Games, DLC, peripherals, consoles, etc are all eligible.
Oh, man! Consoles also count? Well, now we know what will take the the number one spot once the Switch successor gets announced.
Anyway, for its final month in the charts, it doesn't look like Alan Wake 2 has earned a lot of interest. The data is minimal, of course, but we'll see how its sales go.
Thanks for all the work, axum.

I doubt AW2 will garner a lot of sales.

That's my impression as well, but it may also be the kind of game that starts slow and, if it's good and worth the wait since the original, word to mouth may make it have long legs.

In its defense, Alan Wake wasn't necessarily the biggest game the year it came out. Positive word of mouth kept it afloat for years so hopefully that'll be the case with this one as well.

This is a digital only game as well, so that will probably hurt it.

True, but because it was an Xbox exclusive, there was more buzz around the game, something that doesn't seem to happen with the sequel.

I mean, I don't know where you guys are expecting it to reach in terms of sales. Remedy aren't known for selling millions of copies in a single week but their games tend to have slow burns like Control and the first Alan Wake.
Time could hurt or help Alan Wake II depending on how well the game turns out. Overall, I do have confidence in Remedy as a studio but after CrossfireX and with Control 2 on the horizon, I'm a bit worried they could be spreading themselves too thin.
