That's my impression as well, but it may also be the kind of game that starts slow and, if it's good and worth the wait since the original, word to mouth may make it have long legs.

In its defense, Alan Wake wasn't necessarily the biggest game the year it came out. Positive word of mouth kept it afloat for years so hopefully that'll be the case with this one as well.
