Finished the Fallen Ruin chapter. Quite a series of fights. 

Spoiler!

1. I'm sure that it was Benedicta's head in box? That was ordered by Cid? My guy is Savage.

2. Neighbors dog was going crazy so I missed a little part of the conversation about MotherCrystals being a curse. What was Cid getting at? I had already kinda thought about the Blight being caused by something but I was thinking Eikon usage. When non bearers use magic through the shards, the Aether is pulled from the environment itself but Cid believes that the Aether doesn't just disappear; It go's somewhere?

1 - Yes that's what it was but there's a 0% chance that's who did it. The relationship between those two characters would not allow for that. This is GoT style politics, almost certainly framed.

That is what I thought, but again Game of Thrones Vibe. Cid could have a dark side..... naaaw,

Around the 60% mark now, some 30 hours in I believe.

Bad state of affairs at the moment with both the king of Waloed and possibily Anabelle being manipulated by Ultima to some nefarious end. The Titan fight was properly epic, despite a questionable soundtrack choice.

However, allow me to scratch my previous point about the female characters in this game. Yeah, it's worse than I had expected. After a moment of cutscene incompetence we have some filler drama until Clive saves Jill in Rosaria. Shiva's dominant is a complete deadweight 90% of the time.

 The blueballing also irrationally infuriates me after their relationship was progressing in a nice natural and believable fashion before the timeskip.

Yes, and it's not even close. I love this man.

how do you do that? I tried but it also messed up all my other buttons too

Go to Settings>Accessibility>Controllers>Custom Button Assignments>Enable Custom Button Assignments (ON) and then Customise Button Assignments.

Then just change the R1 for O.

The layout on the Screen game won’t change obviously, so when a cinematic dodge/evasion button appears on screen (R1), remember to press O instead, you’ll get used to at some point, I did it quickly. 

Also, Circle is the going back button in the UI system so that will become R1 too for obvious reasons.

65% in, I swear that progression bar is going more slowly as the game goes by.

Not sure where I'd rank this at the moment in the FF scale, sometimes you have these filler FF7R or FF15-esque quests and the next moment literally some of the best gaming ever.

Definitely above 13 and 15, though.

Benedikta and Cidolfus are so cool. Really love the Dominants so far
