It would be perfect if we can combine bethesdas creation mechanics with CDPR's graphics and design pipeline.

Sure, to create something that runs at 5fps and crashes all the time after hyping it up to the moon :p

Combine the team that worked on TotK with Naughty Dog or Insomniac :)

Well cyberpunk worked perfectly on my ps5. It was last gen that was holding back the game.

Well if your standards are that low....

You were playing the last gen version, It took 1.5 years for an actual PS5 version to even come out.

The new update for Cyberpunk 2077 was released last week alongside patch 1.5, and after over a year, PS5 and Xbox Series X now have their own dedicated versions of the game, when previously they were running upconverted PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions, and it showed.

Nvm all the game play problems and glitches with far fewer systems than Bethesda games in place. The glitches of Bethesda plus the release problems of CDPR (remember TW3 at launch?) not a match I'm waiting for!

It was too ambition for last gen, on a technical level, that's was caused the issues. Not necessarily an engine problem. Had they just did a next gen port like they should have from the start, there'd  be no problems.

True, hindsight is 20/20. If they hadn't bothered with last gen, all that time and effort would have been spend on making and polishing the next-gen experience. However CP2077 was originally slated to come out a year before the PS5/Series X launch, it was never meant to be a launch title. The problem is they took the pro consoles as the base line it seems (which still had plenty issues running the game) and only the next gen version could power through in BC mode.

But they wanted that sweet money from the large install base of PS4/XOne and not restrict themselves to a newly starting user base. The game had 8 million pre-orders... Without the promise of a well running last gen version (problems didn't get to light until after release, cleverly hidden by CDPR with games journalists happily not reviewing last gen code on last gen machines) they wouldn't have made as much money as they did.

Anyway targeting your game for a generation of hardware then making an engine that simply doesn't work on it, still an engine problem. That you have to play the last gen version on next gen hardware to get a playable experience is not something to defend as "It worked fine".

Even if that were the case, you can't compare CP2077 to a Bethesda game. It's a beautiful looking game, but you could barely go anywhere in the open world that wasn't designed with a quest in mind.

Like 90% of the buildings in Night City you could not enter. Just completely walled off. You could really only find different levels of crafting components other than actual items, and so much content was cut from the game. You can't even play in third-person, or ride a monorail as advertised.

You can't have what you're looking for in a game like Starfield and expect for it to graphically look like CP2077.

Why do you think no one makes open world games the way Bethesda does? This is why these 2 games are such bad comparisons.
