Wolverine reviews not so fantastic. They're alright, but definitely below what ppl would've expected.

Too bad, and hopefully it doesn't knock Insomniac too much.

Yeah, it's a little disappointing to see after the hype behind the initial teaser. And it certainly is a bit lower than I expected review wise.

But it's in line with what I expected from Wolverine. And honestly I'm still Day One for it.

So there is a rumor going around that Guerrilla Games is overseeing a Killzone project early in development.

Rumored to be the People Can Fly project.

Yeah

Marvel’s Wolverine Is Currently Sony’s Lowest Scoring Game Of The PS5 Era

With a Metacritic score of just 77, the in-house game is scoring worse than Sackboy: A Big Adventure

I enjoyed Sackboy tho..

I watched Skill Ups video and the level of handholding is embarrassing. I sometimes get lost in games too but I don’t need a waypoint to the big glowing blue pissline constantly showing the way in a strictly linear game. It treats the player like they’re fucking stupid. Sonys workhorse stumbling really highlights the cracks in an abysmal generation for PS starting to show.

Ride The Chariot | ‘26 Completed

Saw theres a deal on Wolverine for 60 bucks(Costs 80 new here) and I get 10% off, so I will pick it up on launch next week. The combat do look like fun.

I have to wonder why reviewers are against giving high scores to hand holding cookie cutter open world super hero games now but were fine with Spider-Man.

I have Wolverine installed on my Pro already, one of my kids is super hyped for it. I myself am not expecting much.

Firstly, Wolverine is a strictly linear game and the handholding is on the extreme side. Some handholding in an open world game like SM is fine considering the size. You don’t need a constant glowing line in a game where you can only go one way.

I think they have a few lower scoring games. Concord and sons of sparta both scored in the 60s, lego horizon scored a 70, some of the mlb games have scored lower as well. A few other exclusives published by them have also scored lower, such as destruction allstars, rise of the ronin and lost Souls aside.

Weird, wonder why I thought it had open world

elements. Surely you can turn off the glowing line?

Skill Ups was clearly playing with a bunch of navigation accessibility options on. The ones they specifically spend most of the review on were mentioned by Insomniac a few months ago, and these didn't exist in the previews or preview footage. This should've been obvious when Skill Ups mentions the non-failure state of the QTE, another prime accessibility option.
