TLoU Complete bundle for 1 and 2 was announced, will be available physically only in July.
I think it is a great idea to do that, but it feels like the franchise is over, at least for now, Neil has left it behind (pun intended) and if he ever comes back to it, it'll be far into the future.

I would love them to remake Uncharted 1-3.

I'd settle for a PC port of The Nathan Drake Collection. Always felt weird to have 4 and Lost Legacy on Steam without it.

I'll take that too lol

I'm happy for ND to leave Uncharted behind but I'd like to see another studio reimagine Uncharted 1. That game seems flat compared to rest and it would be nice for a studio to redevelop it from scratch and bring up to bar the best of the series as a new entry point. The resources to remake all 3 would be a waste imo but 2/3 could be remastered with new character models & environmental detail.

I dunno. I think you could remake 1 game, and use that as a framework for the rest of the games. As long as their is initial pre-planning set aside for that as the long-term goal it would be fine.

Personally I think it should just be Sony Bend. Remake Golden Abyss, and use that for a remake of 1-3. Granted, 2, and to a degree 3, wouldn't need as much work I agree on that.

So I got around to finally playing Metal Gear Solid on the GBC.

I think it's an impressive title, especially for the time it released and the hardware it did. But I gotta admit, that the game felt unnecessarily cryptic about how to proceed from the box max level onwards. Had to pull out a walkthrough a few times just to figure out if I was on the right path and heading in the correct direction to accomplish the next goal.

But ultimately, I had a good time with it. I didn't play the VR stuff cause I'm not interested in that right now. Want to head straight into ACiD and AciD 2.

But that said, I bring this up here because I really hope that after the MGS3 remake, Konami looks at the non-canon titles as the next step for metal gear post Kojima. I think there's a lot of opportunity to find a way to combine the games to create a new trilogy with an alternate Snake, and using the non-canon games to set that up I think would really work. Granted, that means a lot of preparation would have to go into deciding how certain games could be combined together (like I personally think MGS Mobile could easily be added to the end of MGS gbc and the rescue angle would actually fit quite well. Granted, story details would need to be changed to make this effort happen.

But this is what I would prefer over the possibility of just remaking the Kojima titles.

The GBC one plays like the NES games which explains why its cryptic, games of that era were like that lol

I've only played AciD 1 - got turned off from playing 2 because I almost gave up at one point in AciD 1 where I was stuck for a while.

There is so much a remaster can do, if the point is to make the games look better at some point the actual waste of resources would be expending time figuring out how instead of just remaking the game.

Uncharted Drakes Fortune is almost 20 years old, if they want to make a remake it would be worth it. People who like to complain with the classic "who asked for this" or "why this game deserves a remake" are going to complain anyway doesn't matter if the game has 5 or 20 years lol. With assets already done making the other 2 would take less time.

Tomorrow starts the third chapter in the book of how Sony saved Bungie.

Chapter 1: Acquiring them. Employees said that when the bubble popped if it wasn't because they were already part of Sony Bungie would have been done.
Chapter 2: Relocating 50% of the people Bungie fired to other positions in SIE, included the creation of a new PS studio. Also absorbing a department that wasn't fired liberating some economical pressure from Bungie in the process.
Chapter 3: Marathon. Included how they waited for it and all the marketing you can expect from the PlayStation ecosystem.
