Anyone see the Tik Tok ban "bill" (idk what to call it, dismissive order?) getting passed by Congress?
Supposedly, Congress had a unusual and strange amount of people calling them saying that Tik Tok notified and gave them the number to call Congress, after it passed. There's been more told but I found that weird.
Does anyone here use Tik Tok?

Either that, or Trump is slowly working on turning the US into his empire with the states as a kind or modern feudal lords. Which would make the name of the Republican party extra ironic...

"Peace" according to Trump is letting Russia steamroll over Ukraine, taking over the entire country, slaughtering and raping hundreds of thousands, displacing millions and committing an ethnic cleansing but hey that's "peace" because at least Ukraine won't be able to fight back anymore as they get their lands stolen and their people brutally murdered.

Course we know that's all bullshit and Trump knows it isn't "peace" and the actual reason is simply because he is compromised by Russia and a Putin bootlicker, he is so desperate to be liked by Putin because he looks up to him and wants to be him. He also clearly wants revenge on Zelenskyy and he'll happily let hundreds of thousands of human beings be killed because he's a fucking petulant child.

My favorite question to ask people about trump is who is "trump". Also I don't know about poltiics anymore I just watch it and don't vote because of personal reasons.

So I thought this was funny. So it appears Trump just cannot help himself saying things about E Jean. There is talk about a 3rd Lawsuit which would be so funny because if he continues to be an idiot, we might see the Trump Tower and Mar a Largo renamed to E Jean Tower.

You also have to remember that the Republican Party is primarily a Southern party now. The South was more or less okay with the British aristocracy and the plantation system (and Jim Crow after that) was their continuation of European feudalism with the serial numbers filed off and chattel slavery in place of serfdom.  

The problem with the GOP is that they have been working to miseducate their base for so long that now they have basically set them up to be taken advantage of by Trump and his family. They do things like complain about the border and then actively stop anything from being done about it and then blame Biden. Any group of people thinking even a little critically are gonna call the GOP on what is obvious fraud, but the base has been so abused mentally that they wont stand up. Thats why Trump chose to run as a Republican. Because he knew their whole franchise is based on the stupidity of the base.

Now, what is obvious to everyone who isn't MAGA is that Trump is taking over the GOP to bleed it dry of money to pay his own bills. The GOP Congressmen are not going to get enough money to fight against the Democratic machine which will literally drown them in ads. When they lose, Trump will just come up with another election conspiracy and the base will NEVER allow themselves to acknowledge that Trump is walking out the back with all of the RNC donor money. They will blame Biden. 100% guaranteed.

This is what you happen when you foster hate and stupidity. People dislike Trump and the GOP but they don't blindly hate Republicans. That requires stupidity and if you can think it becomes harder to hate. The GOP is stupid and unintelligent and that is why they utterly hate Biden and Democrats. There is no logical reason and so the conservative media reinforces the hate and bigotry on a constant never-ending basis.

Thankfully, the fever is going to break because as Trump robs the RNC the GOP will not be able to compete with the DNC, it will cause a huge decline in their corporate contributions and the GOP will simply cease to be.

The problem is that with the Death of the GOP, we will have a huge problem if we only have a one party system. Eventually we will probably need to dismantle the DNC as well. We need to remove money from politics. So Trump taking over the RNC isn't just the death of the GOP... its the death of our current political structure and maybe thats a good thing.

I would like to think that in the future when we look back on we can at least credit it as a breaking point towards something eventually better.

If the GOP dies, then the smaller parties will receive the GOP members, so we would become a multi-party system with one huge party dominating everything. Like Russia and China. That's at least my thoughts if the GOP dies.

Buck criticized dysfunction on Capitol Hill in discussing his decision to leave, telling CNN's Dana Bash, "It is the worst year of the nine years and three months that I've been in Congress and having talked to former members, it's the worst year in 40, 50 years to be in Congress. But I'm leaving because I think there's a job to do out there."

"This place has just devolved into this bickering and nonsense and not really doing the job for the American people," he said.

The Colorado Republican's departure from the House will shake up the chamber's partisan breakdown, where Republicans control only a very narrow majority – a major challenge for Speaker Mike Johnson who has frequently been forced to rely on votes from Democrats as well as Republicans to get major pieces of legislation across the finish line. Buck's decision to step down before the end of his term will trim Republicans' slim edge to 218 seats over 213 for Democrats, with three vacancies. With that breakdown, Republicans could only afford to lose two votes to pass legislation on a party-line vote.
