My home state of Iowa went completely blue for National elections and Governor. All three contested seats plus Governor went blue by a huge margin. Ashley Hinson lost to Josh Turek. Zach Nunn lost to Sarah Garriot. Meeks lost to Bohanen. Rob Sand is our first Democratic governor in over a decade!

Mississippi would be an amazing upset victory.

Mississippi has really been making progress lately. They’ve made great improvements in their education system.

Nevada still hasn’t begun counting yet.

This election is showing how risky Gerrymandering can be. Republicans are getting wrecked so hard in state house races because of their hardcore Gerrymanders.

LOL DUMD DUMB IS ALREADY SPEWING COPIUM ON TURDSOCIAL!

“I would’ve won in a landslide if I was on the ballot” you’re the reason America voted these fuckers out, in states they had no business losing in. Again, if you’re a sitting Republican and you lose a seat in Texas, that’s it, debate over about your presidency.

And James Talarico’s acceptance speech just rings of presidential 2028 nods. I know he won’t run in 2028, but he speaks like a well-versed sitting president, which Trump has increasingly not been as his dementia kicks in further by the day.

Charlie Kirk sure is silent about all this. Must be a pain in the neck to see a blue wave winning.

Inappropriate. You can celebrate this win without mocking someone's cold-blooded murder.

Also, 4 of the 5 districts that got redistricted in Texas went Democrat.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

All three top offices in my state, Democrats, handily won re-election. In 2022, they all scraped out narrow victories. The other two top state offices, Treasurer and Education, are going to flip blue. The Republican running for education was a career politician who bounced from office to office so she could keep punching her taxpayer funded meal ticket. She’s going to be out of office for the first time in over a decade.

Democrats are poised to capture a majority in both houses of the AZ Legislature for the first time in 60 years.

Yeah, here in Pennsylvania it is the first Democratic trifecta since 1993 (the year I was born, and I am 33.) Not only is this a huge Federal election but insane results at the state and local levels. Fuck ICE now.

Arizona has been relatively left alone by ICE despite having the second longest border with Mexico, after Texas. And that is down to our Democratic leadership saying “no” to MAGA and meaning it. Mayes even indicated that she wouldn’t prosecute anybody who defended themselves against ICE. I shudder to think what it would be like if Kari Lake had won, or Biggs.

Arizonans saw this, and voted accordingly.

The first Democratic trifecta since before I was born.
