In other news, Sean Dunn, the “sandwich guy,” was found Not Guilty of a misdemeanor assault charge of throwing a sandwich at an ICE officer.

AG Pam Bondi and DC Attorney Jeanine Pirro originally sought felony charges against him, demanding that he be made an example of, but a grand jury declined to indict him. They then charged him with a misdemeanor, where Bondi. Pirro, and Trump all took an inappropriate interest in what should have been a summary misdemeanor conviction. The jury had apparently had enough of their antics and voted to acquit Dunn.

Probably also didn’t help that, despite Dunn offering to surrender, they sent armed troops to his apartment to srrrst him.

Tbf I did that too when I was ten, by accident because making a close fly by with a keyboard at 10 fps is not easy!

I always had problems to get to liftoff in Flight simulator at the time as I couldn't read the manual (English manual, but I didn't speak English yet at the time. Same issue I had with two other games, Blades of Arcadia, which made character creation (and knowing what I needed to do!) very difficult, and F-15 strike eagle 2, where I also had no idea how to takeoff and land.

So Schumer caved in. Oh well, I guess they finally figured out that the GOP was not going to do anything about the subsidies and Medicare and decided to kick the can.

Didn’t help that the court gave the okay to withhold SNAP funds, and the GOP decided to hold them hostage. 

This is pretty damn frustrating. I am so, so tired of weak establishment leadership. Schumer and his ilk can't get out of the way soon enough. Hopefully the hurt that results from this will at least hurt the GOP and establishment even more in '26 and '28. At least gay marriage dodged a bullet today...

Democrats are weak, feckless, and deserve their low approval ratings.

Schumer didn't lead the compromise though. At least not publicly. Behind the scenes might be a different story.

Well a few are growing a backbone(US FIRST as an example) but yeah still a weak party...

It could be worse tho and you get stuff like what is happening in UK like the BBC drama..(If trump quotes are so bad why don't show them instead of creating a fake narrative).
