It's seems the tone in the western media is slowly starting to shift. The tactic of Hamas to draw attention to the 'hostages' Israel has been taking for many years is working. I was surprised to see the word 'apartheid' mentioned on CNN in context with the 'legal' process differences (administrative detention without charges nor due process) between detained Palestinians and Israeli prisoners, some progress.

Oh nvm, it has been scrubbed, I swear it was there last night. Also the post from Biden is gone from the CNN feed
https://twitter.com/JoeBiden/status/1729621217089323431?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1729621217089323431%7Ctwgr%5E2ebd37582977d5fa02e875f735ee53264de767c4%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.aljazeera.com%2Fnews%2Fliveblog%2F2023%2F11%2F29%2Fisrael-hamas-war-live-more-palestinian-prisoners-israeli-captives-freed

Hamas unleashed a terrorist attack because they fear nothing more than Israelis and Palestinians living side by side in peace. To continue down the path of terror, violence, killing, and war is to give Hamas what they seek. We can’t do that.

Apart from not making much sense, it does hint to Biden not wanting the war to continue. A big difference from before the truce, now more and more evidence of the vast destruction, brutal war crimes, worsening humanitarian and environmental disaster, over 15,000 civilian deaths (including over 6,000 child deaths) and counting are trickling through to the west.

Hamas already got what they wanted, forcing the world to see Israel and the IDF for what they are, ruthless occupiers in an apartheid regime. However the right in Israel is still calling for continuing the war and Netanyahu is still saying the pause is to get the IDF ready for an even bigger scale operation targeting the South (the so called safe zone)

Some of the criticism is still up on CNN

14-year-old freed Palestinian prisoner recounts being in Israeli detention during October 7 attacks

From CNN's Niamh Kennedy

A 14-year-old Palestinian prisoner who was released Tuesday from Israeli custody recounted his experience as a detainee when the October 7 attacks occurred.

"On the first day (of the war), we heard women being beaten, there was repression and violence," Ahmad Slaimah told journalists about that day.

Ahmad said prisoners were provided with two meals a day but said this "wasn't enough" food and many "slept hungry." He criticized the poor communication between prison staff and prisoners.

According to data gathered by CNN from the Palestinian Prisoner's Society and the Israeli prison authority, the Israel Prison Service, Ahmad had been held under detention but never sentenced for a crime.

The young boy's father, Nayef Slaimah, told journalists that he is grateful for his son's release after he lost all contact with him after October 7.

"When Ahmad was in prison, we couldn’t visit him,” his father said.

CNN has asked the Israeli Prison Service about Ahmad's claims.

2 Palestinians died after Jenin hospital was blocked by Israeli forces, charity care agency official says

From CNN's Hande Atay Alam

Two Palestinians died after Israeli military vehicles blocked the entrance of the hospital in Jenin, denying the patients access to care for their wounds, according to Dr. Christos Christou, international president of Doctors Without Borders, also known as Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).

"For two hours, we were not able to leave to provide care and people could not reach us, as Israeli military vehicles blocked the entrance of the hospital and the road, preventing ambulances from leaving. Two Palestinians died of wounds while ambulances could not reach them, " Christou wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Christou said he was visiting the MSF team at the Khalil Suleiman Hospital in Jenin in the occupied West Bank when the "Israeli army conducted an incursion on Jenin refugee camp."

"This must stop now. Patients should have access to healthcare at all times," Christou wrote.

"There's nothing worse for a doctor to know that there are people there needing our care and they cannot get it," Christou said in a video posted on X.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) told CNN that clashes were ongoing in Jenin.

“The IDF is conducting counterterrorism activities in the area,” the IDF said, adding that it would not provide any more details until operations were completed.

As well as some stories about the destruction. Still things like this is not in the western media.

Heartwarming moment when a baby gets rescued alive from the rubble. Miraculously spared in a hollow after the house got struck by an Israeli missile.

Also the joy of Palestinian parents getting rejoined with their children isn't shown on CNN nor the reality of living in Gaza.

Francesca Albaneza speaks out about the Western coverage

So far the ceasefire is still holding, despite Israel continuing to kill and raid the West Bank. (For example: Two children have been shot and killed by Israeli forces in Jenin, occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. A nine-year-old was shot in the head and a 15-year-old was shot in the chest. Security and local sources told the Palestinian news agency Wafa that the Israeli army forced residents of the ad-Damj neighbourhood to leave their homes at gunpoint and destroyed streets in the neighbourhood. Wafa said that the army also bombed a house using a drone)

More Palestinians have been arrested in the West Bank since the start of the ceasefire than released in the hostage negotiations. Plus the ones released have been warned they will be arrested again if they speak out or celebrate.

More than 3,300 arrested in West Bank since October 7: Non-profit

The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and the Prisoners’ Affairs Authority say Israeli forces arrested 35 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank within the past 24 hours, including a 12-year-old child.

The total number of people arrested since October 7 is now more than 3,325, a post on the PPS’s Facebook page said.

Today, November 29 is the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, an official observance adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1977.

That only lasted a year, 1948 was the first ethnic cleansing

https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/campaigns/2017/06/israel-occupation-50-years-of-dispossession/

No mention of The international day of solidarity with the Palestinian people on CNN, as well as very very little coverage of the ongoing protests for a permanent ceasefire / truce around the world. Yet the Western media can't keep ignoring the real disaster unfolding live in Gaza with winter setting in.

Despite Israel delaying releasing prisoners until late at night, raiding the homes of relatives during the day to prevent celebrations and chase the press away, they still can't stop the truth getting out.

Around the Network

Now now, stop the hacking.

Nothing new here to see of course, but we only hear it about it from legacy media when it's convenient. The Gulf states money are flooding the USA and Europe, MBS brags about it (why shouldn't he?). I guess the positive news here is that this will spark more attention from independent journalists and more of this will be uncovered and become public knowledge.

Damn, Ryan, that was grim, indeed!

Fake news / propaganda is being regurgitated by the Western Media and Western politicians, including Biden caught flat out lying about 'intelligence' he has seen 'with his own eyes'.

Fake news and misinformation regarding Hamas's attack on Israel are gaining widespread attention on social media, with journalists and politicians repeating claims that have yet to be substantiated. Here are some rumors that have been disproven or require more evidence.

Jeremy Scahill: Israel's "Lethal Lie" About Al-Shifa Hospital as Hamas Base Was Co-Signed by Biden

Israel is not fooling the younger generation though, getting called out left and right.

Israeli propaganda is being mocked online after a series of controversial videos and statements were released by the military. Social media users, particularly those from Generation Z, are using the platforms to highlight the inconsistencies in Israel’s narrative and highlight the plight of the Palestinians, undermining Israel’s public diplomacy strategy known as Hasbara.

Despite Biden and Blinken's 'warning' to take more care with bombing, over 200 more people have been killed already after bombing on civilian residences has resumed. Just as people were assessing the damage and looking for bodies still stuck under the current rubble.

National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby declined to say if the US has seen more deliberate targeting from Israel since following the expiration of the truce early Friday. "I'm just not going to armchair quarterback," he told CNN's MJ Lee.

Kirby also declined to weigh in on reports from Gaza’s Hamas-run Ministry of Health that Israeli strikes have killed more than 100 Palestinians since the truce expired.

The war in the West Bank never stopped during the ceasefire

Since October 7, more than 3,000 Palestinians have been arrested in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, including 160 in the past six days, often without direct evidence of an offence, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights says.

Six Palestinian men have died in Israeli custody during this period, a decades-long high. The surge in arrests, reports of ill treatment and failure to adhere to due process raise serious concerns about Israel’s compliance with international law, it said.

All thanks to loosened restraints, green lit by the USA, and use of AI to quickly generate targets and cause maximum destruction

The number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks in Gaza has risen to 15,207, the health Ministry announced.

Here are some key talking points from the briefing:

  • More than 40,000 people have been wounded in the attacks
  • Seventy percent of the victims are women and children
  • Hundreds of wounded are being treated on the ground after hospitals went out of service
  • Israel has deliberately targeted 130 health institutions and put 20 hospitals out of service
  • At least 31 health personnel were arrested and interrogated using torture and starvation
  • About 280 health personnel have been killed across Gaza
  • Large numbers of those wounded will die every day due to a lack of treatment options in Gaza hospitals.

U.S. Sends Israel 2,000-Pound Bunker Buster Bombs for Gaza War

After sending massive bombs, artillery shells, U.S. also urges Israel to limit civilian casualties

The U.S. has provided Israel with large bunker buster bombs, among tens of thousands of other weapons and artillery shells, to help dislodge Hamas from Gaza, U.S. officials said.

“These are major bombs that the US has used in the past in its wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria, but mainly in open areas … Now Israel is using these bombs in a very different environment in Gaza, on a densely populated civilian population,” Zhou-Castro said.

“Many people are now questioning in Congress whether continuing to give these ‘bunker bombs’ is a good idea and also calling for more transparency,” she said.

The delivery was part of a “surge of arms” supplied to Israel during its war on Gaza, which includes about 15,000 bombs and 57,000 artillery shells, the Wall Street Journal reported.

US officials also told the newspaper that Israel used a bomb provided by Washington in an attack on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza that killed more than 100 people.

The US sends 3.9 billion in aid to Israel every year, of which 98% is for the army, to be spend on buying American bombs and military equipment. All without any strings attached, to be used indiscriminately. (Unlike any other arms transfers, to Ukraine for example)

This war is carried out with American bombs, paid for by American tax payers, approved of and facilitated by the American government. Biden is no different from Putin in committing war crimes.

All 'US pressure' did is the IDF to come up with a segmented map to warn people via text message to quickly run to a different zone before the bombs hit

https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/israel-hamas-war-gaza-evacuation-map-idf-resumes-airstrikes/

Why is the press keep regurgitating US/IDF propaganda while the facts of the opposite happening are everywhere
"Israel has one of the most sophisticated militaries in the world," Blinken told reporters. "It is capable of neutralizing the threat posed by Hamas while minimizing harm to innocent men, women and children. And it has an obligation to do so."

It's all so fucking ironic

Joseph Goebbels On the “Big Lie”

The English follow the principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous.

The OSS psychological profile of Hitler described his use of the big lie:

His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.

Exactly what Israeli propaganda has been doing, backed by Blinken, Biden, Kerby and the rest of American congress.

From north to south, nowhere safe in Gaza as 700 killed in 24 hours

Israel’s war on Gaza is escalating, leaving death and devastation across the besieged strip.

At least 700 Palestinians have been killed in the past 24 hours – one of the highest daily death tolls since the war began on October 7.

From the north to the south, Palestinians in Gaza say nowhere is safe.

GOP senator rejects defense secretary's argument that more civilian casualties in Gaza could worsen insurgency

US Sen. Lindsey Graham rejected Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s contention that further civilian casualties in Gaza could produce even more insurgents and replace “a tactical victory with a strategic defeat.”

The Republican senator went on to characterize Austin as “naive," saying he has “lost all confidence” in him.

“Strategic defeat would be inflaming the Palestinians? They’re already inflamed. They are taught from the time they’re born to hate the Jews and to kill them," Graham claimed on CNN — calling on Austin to “Quit criticizing Israel in public.”

“Secretary Austin is telling Israel things that are impossible to achieve,” Graham said. “Secretary Austin, the reason Palestinians are dying: Gaza is so condensed, Hamas has tunnels under apartments, under schools, under hospitals.”

Graham added that he understands the theory of what retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal has called “insurgent math,” an idea that collateral civilian death in warfare can be a catalyst for creating insurgents, but argued Gaza’s population “has been radicalized for decades.”

“Do you know what they teach in the schools?” Graham questioned. "The idea that somehow we’re or Israel is radicalizing the people in Gaza is ridiculous'"

“If we were attacked like this, which we were in 9/11, if somebody called for us within two months to have a ceasefire against al-Qaeda, we would’ve laughed them out of town, we would have run them out of town,” he said, also criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris’ Saturday statement that “too many innocent Palestinians have been killed.”

“Vice President Harris, tell Israel how to destroy Hamas in a way not to hurt innocent Palestinians, and I'll pass it along,” he said. “No Republican believes this, by the way,” he added. “No Republican is telling Israel to change your military tactics.”

Aid for Israel: Meanwhile, said he would not vote for a bill to aid Israel and Ukraine if US immigration restrictions he and his GOP colleagues have advocated for are not included in the proposed legislation.

“I think there are votes for Israel apart from the package,” he contended. “Republicans overwhelmingly support Israel — so do most Democrats. Republicans are divided on Ukraine.”

Spreading the big lie, calling for genocide

Outrage continues to grow over a public comment made by a Florida state Republican lawmaker calling for all Palestinians to die.

Meanwhile the IDF can't brush this under the rug

Netanyahu calls for investigation into killing of Israeli who stopped Jerusalem shooting attack

Videos of the attack circulating widely on social media and aired on Israeli television show Castleman run across the road when he sees two men shooting at people at a Jerusalem bus stop. He fires his handgun at them several times as they return to their car after shooting at people.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the attackers’ car, a uniformed soldier also begins shooting. Castleman, apparently realizing he could be mistaken for one of the attackers, throws his pistol away, drops to his knees, opens his jacket to show he is not wearing a suicide vest, and raises his hands. The soldier appears to shoot him after his hands are raised.

The Israel Defense Forces originally said it would not investigate the incident.

Amid widespread media coverage of Castleman’s death, Israel Police said they would investigate it, and the IDF then said it would join the investigation because the suspect in the killing is a soldier.

This reconstruction of October 7 starts to sound a lot more plausible with more and more videos coming out of the IDF indiscriminately shooting people, including children, after surrendering.

For all the sensationalism surrounding the events of Oct. 7, when Hamas broke through the Gaza fence and seized territory in the Gaza Envelope as part of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, there is still much that we do not know. The official Israeli death toll from the attack is estimated at 1,200 civilians, revised from an initial estimate of 1,400. Among this figure are several hundred civilians, which Israel says were killed by Hamas militants. Other testimony from survivors of Oct. 7 suggests an alternative explanation—that in its fervor to defeat Hamas, Israeli commanders may have willingly targeted and sacrificed Israeli soldiers and civilians in the crossfire. Max Blumenthal of The Grayzone joins The Chris Hedges Report for an in-depth look.

It was already confirmed that several people were killed on the music festival by Israeli fire. More concerned about hostages being taken than protecting lives. Spreading lies about how terrible and ruthless Hamas is has fully backfired and Israeli civilians got caught in the cross fire just as Palestinians are now in Gaza.

Every day the same:
Meanwhile, the US has stepped up pressure on Israel to do more to protect civilians following the resumption of combat operations in Gaza.

Completely meaningless as it's only escalating day after day.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reaffirmed on Saturday that the country's support for Israel is “not negotiable” in remarks at a forum in California — but also emphasized that the protection of civilians in Gaza is crucial to Israel’s long-term success against Hamas.

Who can stop these maniacs.

Why does the US keep falling for IDF nonsense

“We have asked civilians to evacuate the battlefield and we have provided a designated humanitarian zone inside the Gaza Strip,” he said, referring to al-Mawasi, southwest of Khan Younis, a tiny pocket of land measuring 6.5 square kilometres (2.5 square miles).

About 1.8 million Palestinians have already been displaced since Israel’s military offensive on Gaza, including some 1 million who fled to the south after an Israeli evacuation order.

1.8 million people in 6.5 square kilometers, 277K per square km. NY city has a population density of 11.3K per square km. Manila is the most densely populated city in the world at 43K per square km.

Manilla

al-Mawasi

Correction: This is actually al-Mawasi, there aren't even any tents (at 1:34)

What kind of fantasy land do Israel (and the USA) live in.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/dec/04/john-kirby-white-house-genocide

Challenged at a White House briefing to confront the term “Genocide Joe” by some protesters to described Biden, Kirby, who had previously ruled out “drawing red lines” for Israel’s actions in Gaza, embarked on an animated exposition.

“People can say what they want on the sidewalk and we respect that. That’s what the first amendment’s about,” he said. “But this word genocide’s getting thrown around in a pretty inappropriate way by lots of different folks. What Hamas wants, make no mistake about it, is genocide. They want to wipe Israel off the map.

“And they’ve said that they’re not going to stop. What happened on the 7th of October is going to happen again and again and again. And what happened on the 7th of October? Murder; slaughter of innocent people in their homes or at a music festival. That’s genocidal intentions.

How can Kirby call the Oct 7 attacks genocide, yet refuse to see the systematic destruction of Gaza's entire infrastructure and its population, and call it 'self-defense'

“Yes, there are too many civilian casualties in Gaza … And yes, we continue to urge the Israelis to be as careful and cautious as possible. But Israel is not trying to wipe the Palestinian people off the map. Israel’s not trying to wipe Gaza off the map. Israel is trying to defend itself against a genocidal terrorist threat. If we’re going to start using that word – fine. Let’s use it appropriately.”

At least The Guardian isn't falling for US Israeli narratives and actually calling out Israel's intentions

Bartov, a professor of Holocaust and genocide studies at Brown University in Rhode Island, said multiple Israeli ministers and senior figures, including the prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, had made “genocidal statements” and “terrifying pronouncements” that have never been revoked. Netanyahu has repeatedly invoked the Old Testament fate of Amalek, whose followers were condemned to annihilation after attacking the ancient Hebrews during their exodus from Egypt.

In commentary for the Council for Global Cooperation, a version of which was published in the Guardian, Bartov singled out comments by Maj Gen Giora Eiland, a former head of the Israeli national security council. Eiland told Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper on 10 October that “Gaza will become a place where no human being can exist” before expanding on the theme in a 19 November article for the same publication.

“The way to win this war faster and at a lower cost to us necessitates the collapse of the systems on the other side, not the killing of more Hamas fighters,” wrote Eiland, who expanded his enemy definition to include the Gaza population whom he said cheered Hamas’s atrocities.

“The international community warns us of a humanitarian disaster in Gaza and of severe epidemics. We must not be deterred by that … severe epidemics in the southern strip will bring victory closer and diminish the number of IDF [Israeli Defense Forces] casualties.”

Summing up, Bartov wrote: “Israeli rhetoric and actions are preparing the ground for what may well become mass killing, ethnic cleansing and genocide, followed by annexation and settlement of the territory.”

And of course the White house
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/speeches-remarks/2023/12/02/remarks-by-vice-president-harris-on-the-conflict-between-israel-and-hamas/

On October 7th, Hamas terrorists launched a terrorist attack that killed 1,200 innocent people in Israel, including 35 Americans. It was a brutal and horrific massacre. Babies and Holocaust survivors were killed. Young people who were simply attending a concert were shot dead. Two hundred and forty hostages were taken from their homes.

And over, then, the past eight weeks, President Biden and I have been clear: Israel has a right to defend itself. And we will remain steadfast in that conviction.

Only 1 baby was killed on the Israeli side btw, and the brutal massacre was helped by the IDF firing hellfire missiles at everything that moved and shelling houses with tanks to prevent hostages getting taken. Not that that excuses the attack from Hamas, yet the response from the IDF made it a lot worse.

Let me be also very clear, as I’ve said before: We cannot conflate Hamas with the Palestinian people. Hamas is a brutal terrorist organization. Hamas has vowed to repeat October 7 until Israel is annihilated.

No nation could possibly live with such danger, which is why we support Israel’s legitimate military objectives to eliminate the threat of Hamas.

Bombing civilian infrastructure and residential complexes are not legitimate military objectives. And if you call Hamas a brutal terrorist organization, then the IDF, Settler movement and military courts for Palestinian children are as well.

President Biden and I have also been clear with the Israeli government in public and in private many times: As Israel defends itself, it matters how.

The United States is unequivocal: International humanitarian law must be respected. Too many innocent Palestinians have been killed. Frankly, the scale of civilian suffering and the images and videos coming from Gaza are devastating.

Yet you keep sending more bombs and ammunition, your words mean nothing.

Shortly after October 7th, President Biden and I began discussions with our national security team about post-conflict Gaza. We have begun to engage partners in the region and around the world in these conversations, and this has been a key priority over the last eight weeks.

No you're fucking key priority is to stop this humanitarian disaster.
But let's keep on redirecting from the pressing issue to the fantasy future

One, reconstruction. The international community must dedicate significant resources to support short- and long-term recovery in Gaza — for example, rebuilding hospitals and housing, restoring electricity and clean water, and ensuring that bakeries can reopen and be restocked.

Oh so the international community can pay for all the destruction the oppressing army has caused with US armaments and US tax dollars. We'll pay for the destruction but the international community can pay for fixing it back up.

Second, security. The Palestinian Authority Security Forces must be strengthened to eventually assume security responsibilities in Gaza. Until then, there must be security arrangements that are acceptable to Israel, the people of Gaza, the Palestinian Authority, and the international partners. And to reiterate — and this is very important — terrorists will not be permitted to continue to threaten Israel.

The PA is just a tool for Israel to oppress Palestinians. Watch this and it becomes more clear why Hamas was voted into power.

Great insight into history of the conflict and observations of the West Bank and the total surveillance state. 1984 in its fullest extent.

Third, governance. The Palestinian Authority must be revitalized, driven by the will of the Palestinian people, which will allow them to benefit from the rule of law and a transparent, responsive government.

Eventually, this revitalized PA must have the capacity to govern Gaza, as well as the West Bank. We believe progress on these three areas — reconstruction, security, and governance — will improve the lives and livelihoods of the Palestinian people.

First the apartheid and settler movement must end for that to have any chance at all. No word on that though.

And dodging the few actual questions

Q To that point, Israel has suggested building a buffer in Gaza, and they’ve been having some conversations about that today and for the past few days. What is the U.S. position on it?

...

Q And thoughts on the buffer zone?

AIDE: Hold on. Deepa.

Q The buffer zone. You didn’t answer her question on that.

THE VICE PRESIDENT: What is the question exactly?

Q Israel has been suggesting a buffer zone in Gaza, Madam Vice President. What is the U.S. view on that?

THE VICE PRESIDENT: We have not weighed in on that.

Fucking BS

Q Thanks, Madam Vice President. I wanted to ask: What evidence do you have that Israel won’t just be receptive to conversations and asks the U.S. has made in terms of protecting civilian life, minimizing harm to civilian life in Gaza — not just receptive to those asks but actually following through and really acting on them. Do you have any evidence that Israel will listen?

THE VICE PRESIDENT: I do believe that they have listened, and I can assure you: From the beginning, the President has been very direct and clear about our perspective, for example, that humanitarian laws, the rules of war must be followed, which includes what must happen in terms of giving humanitarian aid, no intentional targeting of civilians.

And we have been very clear also that, one, Israel has a right to defend itself, but we also must take into account that far too many Palestinian civilians — innocent people — have been killed and Israel must do more to protect innocent civilians.

Q To that point, in the first day after this temporary truce had — had ended, Israel killed 200 Palestinians, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. Is that minimizing harm to civilian life? Is that acceptable?

THE VICE PRESIDENT: I don’t have the details to tell you exactly who was killed. And — but I will say this, we have been very clear about where we stand on this, which is innocent civilian lives should not be intentionally targeted and that Israel must do more to protect innocent life in Gaza and innocent civilians in Gaza.

And we’ve been very clear about that. And we continue to make that point, not only privately but publicly as well, as you see.

AIDE: Thank you, guys.

THE VICE PRESIDENT: Okay, thank you.

Bernie Sanders for president!

Israel is on a roll, blaming UNWRA, picking a fight with the WHO, revoking the visa of Lynn Hastings (UN Humanitarian coordinator) calling the UN biased.

USA fares no better https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/rep-nadler-slams-gop-anti-180009610.html

The US House of Representatives has passed a resolution that explicitly labels anti-Zionism as antisemitism, after warnings from senior Jewish members of Congress and opponents of the measure who fear that it dangerously conflates criticism of Israel with anti-Jewish attacks amid Israel’s siege of Gaza.

The measure passed the House on Tuesday with support from 311 House lawmakers, including 95 Democratic members. There were only 14 votes against the resolution. Ninety-two members voted “present”.

Democratic US Rep Jerry Nadler of New York, the most senior Jewish member of the House, called the measure “another attempt in a long series of veiled efforts by the GOP to weaponise Jewish lives for political gains” in his remarks from the House floor on Monday night.

House Resolution 894 “clearly and firmly states that anti-Zionism is antisemitism,” creating a definition that opponents warn could strike at First Amendment protections while broadly smearing support for Palestine or criticism of Israel as an anti-Jewish attack. Critics have also argued that codifying support for Zionism and tying one’s religion to a government is itself antisemitic, and could feed anti-Jewish hate.

https://www.cnn.com/2023/12/05/politics/house-vote-resolution-condemning-antisemitism/index.html

The House passed a Republican-led resolution on Tuesday condemning antisemitism in the United States and globally.

A number of Democrats, however, expressed concern that the language of the GOP resolution is overly broad and would effectively define any criticism of the Israeli government or its policies as antisemitism. The vote was 311 to 14.

Ninety-two Democrats voted “present,” and 13 Democrats and one Republican voted against the resolution.

In remarks on the House floor, Nadler pointed to language in the GOP resolution stating that “anti-Zionism is antisemitism. That is either intellectually disingenuous or just factually wrong,” he said. “The authors, if they were at all familiar with Jewish history and culture, should know about Jewish anti-Zionism that was, and is, expressly not antisemitic,” he said. “Most anti-Zionism, particularly in this moment, has a real antisemitism problem. But we cannot fairly say that one equals the other,” he said.

Of course CNN combines this with the still unproven allegations of rape during the incursion on Oct 7.
(Despite thousands of hours of footage available from CCTV, dash cams and body armor cams from Oct 7. And all there is are some 'witness' statements)

Separately, two House Democrats are planning on introducing a resolution this week condemning Hamas’ use of sexual violence and rape against Israeli women. Democratic Rep. Lois Frankel of Florida has begun drafting the resolution, a Democratic lawmaker familiar with the plans told CNN.

A source familiar with Frankel’s thinking told CNN combating rape as a weapon of war is a long-standing priority for the congresswoman and the resolution was not drafted as a response to any comments made by other members.

It's not that it could have happened, yet this is just another distraction tactic from the unfolding genocide. Keep the focus on Oct 7 and on what should happen after the war is over, just don't look at what's happening right now. And CNN stating it as fact, with other news agencies copying CNN's 'facts'.

https://mondoweiss.net/2023/12/cnn-report-claiming-sexual-violence-on-october-7-relied-on-non-credible-witnesses-some-with-undisclosed-ties-to-israeli-govt/

The CNN report represents a serious breach of professional conduct, which we detail in this piece. The most concerning aspect of the report is the fact that every single witness and “expert” in the CNN report proves to either be lacking in credibility or have ties to Israeli government officials and institutions. A deeper examination of the CNN report shows a series of manipulations and professional failures, including the fact that all witnesses that CNN claims to have “found” were featured in previous reports pitched and coordinated by the Israeli government, calling into question how much original reporting or fact-finding went into the CNN report. CNN’s failure to adhere to professional and ethical standards of responsible journalism also raises questions regarding CNN’s possible complicity with a political campaign orchestrated by the Israeli Prime Minister’s office to perpetuate unverified claims of mass rape, and a larger effort to dehumanize Palestinians in order to justify the ongoing genocidal campaign in Gaza.

And every time the atrocities become overwhelming, back to Oct 7 again and dehumanizing Palestinians

US officials expect the current phase of Israel’s ground invasion of Gaza targeting the southern end of the strip to last several weeks before Israel transitions, possibly by January, to a lower-intensity, hyper-localized strategy that narrowly targets specific Hamas militants and leaders, multiple senior administration officials tell CNN.

Too late. Ceasefire needs to happen now.

It's clear Israel is not heeding any of US' warnings and has only been bombing more. In another month there will be little left, probably exactly as planned.

Israel has already killed more people than live in my town (over 16,000 now). Hard to imagine, every single person in town blown to pieces. Far more houses destroyed than there are in my town (40,000 destroyed), and far more damaged beyond that.

CNN might become more critical now after one of its producer's family was sadly killed

The expression on Jake Tapper's face says more than a thousand words, he's not believing the official narratives anymore.

Shapiro gives the game away on the trans sports distraction:

Somebody gets it

US Rep. Seth Moulton told CNN's Erin Burnett he disagrees with Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Jonathan Conricus' assessment that two civilians killed for every Hamas militant is a "tremendously positive" ratio.

"No I think it's dead wrong," Moulton said.

Moulton, a member of the House Armed Services Committee who served in Iraq, cited a study commissioned by retired Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal, which said for every civilian killed, about 10 terrorists are recruited.

"By that number, Israel so far killed about 5,000 Hamas terrorists but in the process they've recruited about 100,000 new adherents. And this is bad news for Israel," Moutlon said.

The congressman added that in a poll conducted just before October 7, six out of 10 Gaza residents indicated that they did not support Hamas.

"Israel was actually going into a favorable situation where most of the Palestinians were against Hamas as well. The concern is they've actually turned most of the Palestinians against Israel," Moulton said.

Sorry for going back to 2020. I recently saw a fact check regarding the amount of registered voters in the US.
I'll just explain it in my own words and some quotes.
Many people thought the amount was 133 million, which is a lie. They say that because there were 158 million votes in the 2020 US Presidential Election, and they wanted to prove that it was rigged, false and a null vote.

"The U.S. Census Bureau estimated there were 168,300,000 registered voters at the time of the election, according to a January 2022 population report"
So with this new information there were 158.4 million votes. 81M for Biden and 74M for Trump.

But I dont know why, for some reason that number doesn't sit right with me.
For almost every US Presidential Election the voter turnout goes as follows (I'll focus on 1996-2020):
1996: Registered, 127.66M. Voted, 96.4M. 75% turnout
2000: Registered, 129.55M. Voted, 105.6M. 81% turnout
2004: Registered, 142.07M. Voted, 122.3M. 86% turnout
2008: Registered, 146.31M. Voted, 1314M. 89% turnout
2012: Registered, 153.16M. Voted, 129.2M. 84% turnout
2016: Registered, 157.6M. Voted, 136.6M. 86% turnout
2020: Registered, 168.3M. Voted, 158.4M. 94% turnout

I think that blows my mind that the US had a 94% turnout.
I honestly don't think that if we gave every registered voter a free all-expense paid Disneyland ticket, there would even be a 94% turnout who go.
Am I crazy for thinking that it was such a huge turnout?
What do we think the 2024 election turnout percentage will be? (I am not asking who will win, or be in the US Presidential Election for 2024).
