Fake news and misinformation regarding Hamas's attack on Israel are gaining widespread attention on social media, with journalists and politicians repeating claims that have yet to be substantiated. Here are some rumors that have been disproven or require more evidence.

The number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks in Gaza has risen to 15,207, the health Ministry announced.

U.S. Sends Israel 2,000-Pound Bunker Buster Bombs for Gaza War

The U.S. has provided Israel with large bunker buster bombs, among tens of thousands of other weapons and artillery shells, to help dislodge Hamas from Gaza, U.S. officials said.
“These are major bombs that the US has used in the past in its wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria, but mainly in open areas … Now Israel is using these bombs in a very different environment in Gaza, on a densely populated civilian population,” Zhou-Castro said.
“Many people are now questioning in Congress whether continuing to give these ‘bunker bombs’ is a good idea and also calling for more transparency,” she said.
The delivery was part of a “surge of arms” supplied to Israel during its war on Gaza, which includes about 15,000 bombs and 57,000 artillery shells, the Wall Street Journal reported.
US officials also told the newspaper that Israel used a bomb provided by Washington in an attack on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza that killed more than 100 people.
The US sends 3.9 billion in aid to Israel every year, of which 98% is for the army, to be spend on buying American bombs and military equipment. All without any strings attached, to be used indiscriminately. (Unlike any other arms transfers, to Ukraine for example)
This war is carried out with American bombs, paid for by American tax payers, approved of and facilitated by the American government. Biden is no different from Putin in committing war crimes.
