The Xbox barely made the 100k mark for the month, despite the great availability of the Series S. Maybe @Shadow1980 has a point here: people are now waiting for the Series X

Doesn't make sense that they'd have less stock available now than last year. The situation for manufacturing was much worse a year ago. Don't remember the last time Series X wasn't readily available in the UK. I don't think there is a Series X stock issue in Europe.

I don't think people are waiting for Series X, they're waiting for Xbox to release a major title which they haven't done since December 2021.

It is true that I see Series X on shelves in several places next to Series S, but don't know how is the situation is accross Europe, I can only witness what's happening in France/Belgium/Netherlands/Germany/Luxembourg.

I know I am repeating myself, and that's truly something I have avoided doing since I've registered here, but it's extremely satisfying seeing those 400k figures for PS5 in US and Europe and arguably 1mill globally for January.

I am really looking forward for Sony finally getting in track with PS5 sales. Every month the installed base grows we are getting closer to finally get rid of PS4 versions of new games getting announced. PS4 was amazingly important for Sony, no doubt about it, but I guess we, devs and players, have squeezed every drop out of it.

It would be so nice If 2023 is finally the year next-gen truly starts.

Wow

One question for you all. The launch aligned sales comparison article I do has worldwide, USA, Europe, and Japan data. Would you all be interested in me splitting that into 4 articles? So I do them once the data for each region is posted? (https://www.vgchartz.com/article/456094/ps5-vs-xbox-series-xs-vs-switch-launch-sales-comparison-through-week-112/)

I prefer one article with worldwide, USA, Europe and Japan, just like you did it with week 112. It's easier to get an overview. ^^

Thank you for the response! Greatly appreciated. That does make my life easier doing just one of them per month rather than splitting it up into multiple articles.
