Whats crazy is the drama it had when it launched.
Reviewers refusing to review it, games journalists refusing to give it any space or pr ect.
On resetera its not even allowed to be spoken out, you can get banned for it, they call it "the wizard game" instead.
All because they believe JK Rowling to be transphobic.
There were boycotts towards it.... because they wouldn't support such a game, because of who is behind the IP.

Meanwhile most normal people are just like "cool, a harry potter game".

In the end this was indeed the biggest game of 2023, just as I was expecting. I don't think Baldurs Gate 3 has stamina left to outsell it. Zelda for sure doesn't have either 

Maybe Diablo can outsell it, as Blizzard will keep supporting it for many years

Locked. Meaning it won't show up in the index any more, but people can still visit the thread to read the posts in it.

It was locked partially due to consistent posts of misinformation. And not things that are easy to fall for. Including the most obviously fake NDA I've ever seen, and should have been for anyone that takes a few seconds readining it. (And it was confirmed fake shortly after.)

Someone also posted what's supposedly the number of refund requests for the game. Except a 10 second Google search would reveal it's refund requests across all games on Steam.

These claims stem from grifters online who monetize rage bait, and there's a lot more of it.
I wasn't there for any of this since I was away for a few days, but between that and some of the unnecesary bickering, I can understand mods thinking the unproductive posts are outweighing the productive ones at this point.

Ah, yes it wasn't going anywhere. I just found it odd it was gone from the 'buddy' drop down list as well. New feature or I probably never noticed before.
