According to VGC...it is done. The mighty PS4 has fallen to the dark horse hybrid Switch, just as so many before. Few remain, two friends, one foe, but the Switch's blade is sheathed only by the hand of Nintendo. Best of luck to all who remain.

Lmao!

According to Jin Ryan Sony will prioritize the Asian market this year. With this I just saw that the estimates of vgchartz seem low since jo japan the ps5 sold more than 50 thousand units in the last week and 100,000 in asia whole seems to me little

The UK and Spain both had the PS5 sell relatively low with a lack of stock.
We don't have enough specific data on other countries in Europe but this paints a picture.

In Germany the PS5 was heinously overpriced at over 800€ on Amazon and has only now in December gone down in price with the GoW bundle costing 619€. That also suggests low stock.

The available UK and Spain data is one thing I use to help with the weekly estimates. When the monthly charts come out I make adjustments.

In the UK the breakdown was Switch 42%, XS 40%, and PS5 18%. In Spain it was Switch 37K, XS 9K, and PS5 8.5K.

Xbox Series S was heavily discounted all over. PS5 didn't have much in the way of deals.
