Looks like reviews are all over the place on this one

Seems like...

• + Good Combat.
• + Great Art Design.
• - Bland/Soulless Overworld.
• - Awful Writing/Main Character.

Is the general bullet points, but it is divisive with some loving it and some hating it.

Reads to me like too many critics were expecting a AAA level of polish from a game that had a AA budget, it's pretty much the same issue that Compulsion had with We Happy Few.

Still pretty good/favorable scores overall for their first game. Looking forward to Gameranx's before you buy video. 

Further you go down South in HL, the worse the game runs...not sure why. Can't wait for the Switch/last gen versions

Finishing up collectibles and revelio pages. Opinion hasn't changed though, still an amazing game. Will put full thoughts upon completion.

The switch version has no chance with Hogwarts Legacy unless it’s a cloud version.

I don’t need Atomic Heart to be a critical darling since I know that I will enjoy it in the end, tons of people who followed the project for years thought that it was a fake project that was never going to come out.

Mundfish’s team is less than 100 staff so it’s impressive what they were able to pull off for their 1st game, I hope that MS takes interest in them and GSC Gameworld as potential acquisition targets.

Exactly this! Visuals look super impressive and the art style is just off the walls crazy. And like you said, it's their first game. Just bought the game as well. Would be a nice acquisition. 

Atomic Hearts is a very ambition game and for the studios first go, I definitely consider the game a success.
