Not sure if any of those special abilities will be in the MP. They could have modes with and without but the game is in the future so having it be just another military shooter when the market is saturated with it isn't fun. At least I am interested in the SP, I never play the MP and mostly just play the zombie mode.

Infinite Warfare is the only CoD I liked. Didn't play MP just SP.

Infinite Warfare did have a good campaign for sure, among the best in the series.

I can't pre order games but got Black Myth Wukong the moment I woke up!! (And another 15 games with it) ^^'

EA with BF6: "back to the roots everyone loved"

Activision with CoD: "back to whatever this craziness is which nobody loved"

BF6 is so hyped right now, I think it could really get close to CoD now. Something I would've never believed even though I like BF more in general.

Yeah, no idea what they were thinking with Black Ops 7, it's like the early 8th gen CoD games that everyone hated but dialed up to the max in craziness, I saw wallrunning and super jumps and all of that other stuff people hated in CoD multiplayer from 2013-2016. Not surprised the like-dislike ratio is the 2nd worst in the series, above only Infinite Warfare. It's bad enough that modern CoD has all of the crap with garish skins and playable influencers chasing away classic CoD fans like myself, but now they are going back to the gameplay of the most hated CoD era as well. Do they think a significant number of CoD fans are nostalgic for that era of CoD or something?

Yes, I also remember some Black Ops campaign from that era that was too weird/ acid like for my taste (not that I am as such against "weird" in games, but that one just annoyed me), am not looking forward to have more of that. However, I appreciate that it sounds like it is a complete co-op campaign (not just co-op challenges), if so I am gonna play through it together with my significant other no matter what.

So BF6 is hyped for giving people exactly what they did in the past meaning just do the same shit that was successful.  While I thought the COD 7 trailer was batshit crazy, I also thought that it looked like they really wanted to do something different than just another modern military shooter.  Oh well, damn if you do, damned if you don't.  I am more interested in playing this COD than I am playing BF6 because BF6 just looks like what I played in the past.  Hell, the whole market is saturated with basically the same military shooters these days if you ask me.

I think BO7 looks weird and intriguing.  People want the same thing over and over again?

And it is on sale!!!  (And I just bought so much stuff)

And also:

Yup, there will be a Steam Deck like compatibility system.

The base version price is less than I thought it would be. The X version is the price I expected.
