Played some of the bonus missions in Halo, honestly based on the quality of those missions I can't really look forward to a full new game from Halo Studios.
Fable RPG/life sim part seems great but combat seems still to be off.

Yeah I really didn't care for the bonus missions either. Felt like a buddy action comedy when Chief and Johnson are NOT like that at all in the main game.

Read spoiler only once you've finished the bonus missions.

Spoiler!
And I really didn't care for Williams either. She wasn't a likable character. Reminded me of Holdo in The Last Jedi where she's doing everything to not be liked, to then have a heroic sacrifice and I'm sitting back like.....this sacrifice made me feel nothing lol

When you remake one of the most beloved Halos and the worst part that is universally panned is the new content you put in that nobody wanted. At this point I’d trust Asspyr with Halo more than 343.. sorry I mean H🔺L ♿️ Studios.

Ride The Chariot | ‘26 Completed

Yeah, it's baffling to me, why in the world would you remake Halo 1 and then add in a new character with a worse personality than Palmer who tries to make fun of Chief just like her, after you already saw the poor reception to Palmer making fun of Chief?

Microsoft switches to monthly hour limits in big changes to Xbox Cloud Gaming, cites rising cloud costs:

Game Pass Ultimate: 15 hours
Game Pass Premium: 10 hours Game Pass
Essential: 5 hours

Once subscribers use up their hours, they can buy additional cloud playtime through the Xbox Store
source : everywhere on the net now.

Lol.... 15 hours monthly limit is ridiculous. Unless extra hours are laughably cheap Xbox Cloud is no longer a valid gaming platform.

GFN introduced a 100 hour limit and that got people mad, and they're not exactly comparable subscriptions but bruh.

I get limiting hours, but 15 hours for Ultimate? That is terrible. If they did something more like 10, 25, and 50 hours that would be different.

Yo man they need to take a chill pill with this! It seems to only be StarCraft Remastered that’s affected

A Helix S that's much like how Series S was marketed would be great next gen. Bump up the hardware a smidge if need be to make sure devs are satisfied enough with it this time around. I'd be way more likely to pick up a Helix S console instead of a PS6 handheld hybrid.

Yeah, I think it will definitely come in a good bit more expensive than Series S, because they need to make it a good bit more powerful relatively speaking than Series S was, since Helix X is reportedly a very powerful console. Helix X seems to have a Zen 6 CPU (4 generation leap over the Zen 2 in Series X with considerable IPC improvements), a GPU that has been compared to the RTX 5080 in performance (which would put Helix X at 60+ tflops most likely compared to 12 tflops on the Series X), and most likely 36 GB of RAM (they were originally aiming for 48 GB but leakers think they will reduce it due to the RAM pricing crisis). In order to not hold a console that powerful back, Helix S would need to have like a 30 tflop GPU, the same CPU as Helix X running at a lower clock rate, and probably 24 GB of RAM down from 36 GB on the Helix X.

With Helix X reportedly coming in at $1000-1200, Helix S would probably be coming in around $700, making it more of a Series X successor in price and specs.

That's what I would also expect in that case. Something like that anyway. I'd think MS would want to price Helix S in Series X territory if possible. Same as before with Series S, where it was a little over half the price of Series X.

PS1   - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.

PS2  - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.

PS3   - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.

PS4   - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.

PRO  -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
