I have a sega collection cartridge for my switch.  I would love to see a Saturn and DC version over new mini hardware.  So much easier.

I love Switch too but love Sega more than the big 3 Wish modern timeline Sega was still making consoles maybe in alternative Universe theres a big 4 Sega,Microsoft,Nintendo,Sony. I have fond memories of SNES but the Genesis with the Sega CD was too good but I still loved both at the time though the real OG's pull me of their battle scars how much they wanted to stomp SNES and PS1 PS2 we talk alot of those scars post dreamcast We put the Dreamcast ontop on the PS2 calling it slur only good for having the dreamcast on top while ps2 is just a table but I'm more forgiving than the other OG's since I still like Sony and Nintendo but I know where my fanself lies Sega being number 1. Just glad the other Sega dinosaurs are not this kind as me I even collect and want Nintendo to do amazing. OG have their mind set since decades.

I had a Genesis, CD, 32x, Saturn and DC.  I thought the Genesis and DC were excellent.  The CD was meh, Saturn was meh and 32x was just awful.  The DC is probably my favorite from Sega.  I really liked Skies, Grandia II, JGR, DoA2, Soul Calibur and a few others.  As crazy as it sounds Virtua Tennis was a masterpiece.  Problem with the DC is I think too many were disappointed with the CD, 32x and Saturn.  Sega didn't have the brand anymore.

I strongly agree on the 32x I bought it for alot then hated it traded it back they offered 20$ cash back I was super angry but I was young didn't know better then later tried 32x again found very few gems besides knuckles chaotix. Oh and when I was young Knuckles Chaotix confused me for long time I went back to Sonic 2 multiplayer with the area where me and other 6 year olds played with a guy in his late 30's with a mullet sonic 2 multiplayer special stages. Those were real in 93 and 95 while others wore diapers in those times such strong groups and hardcore terminator 2 movies and rambo were the standard of those generation of Sega.

A Saturn would be quite feasible despite the tricky hardware and lower interest (outside of Japan) than the Dreamcast.

But the Dreamcast would be a headache because of the larger file sizes of the games and the controller. A Dreamcast Classic would be at least $100, and it's not too crazy to think of Sega charging $150 or more for it. Yeah, the file sizes tend to be a lot smaller than the PS2 and Xbox. But there are still plenty of games that are hundreds of megabytes, some even a gigabyte or more. Even if they could probably use 32 GB or under, that's a lot more than the tiny memory needed for the NES, SNES, and Genesis/Mega Drive.

With 64GB storage, which will cost less than $10 these days as a manufacturer, you could store 50 Dreamcast games plus the OS easily. So that shouldn't be a problem.

What about the Master System? It's the only one that matters.

They still make and sell them in brazil with games built in. Go grab one. Cost almost the same as a Genesis Mini did shipping from Japan

tec Toy Sega Master System 132 built in games

I already have an original Master System, though not one of those crappy new ones.

Actually the one I currently own is from USA, lol.

But I owned a brazilian Master System 3 from Tec Toy with Sonic the Hedgehog built in, loved the thing, but it broke and the image quality is sadly a lot worse, so I never got one back after my brother spilled grape juice in ours and our parents tossed it away xP

Anyway, I mean the Master System mini.

That Japanese library is why I feel it's overall a better system than N64.

Hehe, you were like 4 years old in 1999 but glad you like Sega Saturn too just to let the mini for those that haven't gotten it earlier or I started reading very early to use Sega Net. Gives you a like from an OG Sega fan I used to a friend dad port japanese games to USA in mid 90's Had a Megadrive japanese in 1993 Mega Cd in 94 I think? love to read some rpg back then. And platformers.

That isn't my age. In the age section of my profile when I signed up I put in Saturns Japanese launch date. ;)

That would be amazing! A Sega Saturn mini with all Panzer Dragoon games (and yes, there are issues with the third game but likely solveable) and the english translations of alla Shining Force games :). It would be a day one purchase.

Yes, Sega Saturn Mini can be done.
