Not a single Pokémon game in the top 30 lol.

The new Legend of Heroes game did suprisingly well. I expected the franchise to keep declining.

I'm not saying Kuro 2 did bad, but I wonder what falcom thinks, For Kuro 1 they were not pleased with it's sales and the decline of the series. While Kuro 2 matched Kuro 1's sales they probably expected more since they marketed this game WAY more than Kuro 1, and yet it only matched the sales of Kuro 1 which they said was under expectations. It seems Falcom should consider giving the series a break, or stop releasing a game every year and do it every 2-3 years to avoid burnout and allow more time for development.

I think with the bigger marketing they just prevented further decline.

Next year I think they'll release Ys X and give the Trails series a break.

There are 12 new SKUs in the top 30 this week. I'm thinking that is going to be the record for the year.

This is the most PS games in the top 30 for some time, off the back of a slew of new releases. We'll see how much staying power they have in the coming weeks, as typically PS games show less legs than Switch games in Japan.

Sad to see xblock still selling

Why?

Salty fanboy full of hate. He thinks all companies except for Sony are quote: "anti-consumer/anti-competetive/monopolistic tax evasion currupt" something something bla bla bla. And Sony is none of this and the poor victim.

Let's not demonize, everyone has a right to their opinion, doesn't make them hateful. If the mods see an intentional sabotage then it will be their good judegement, as for us regular users we would do good to respect different opinions, to foster discussion, and defer judgement to the mod team. I want us to have a better vgchartz.
