Forums - Sales Discussion - Nintendo has published 55 games on Switch that have sold at least 1 million units

The power of Nintendo games is unmatched. There's still a ways to go in the Switch's life before this list becomes finalized. Also, Nintendo stopped providing sales figures for a lot of these games, so there's no way to know what the most up to date sales numbers are as some may have joined the million seller club, but we won't know. Neither Mario + Rabbids games will be on these kinds of lists either as they're both published by Ubisoft.

Mind-blowing. Wonder if there is a chance for 100 published games to reach 1 million considering the number of games behind 1 million because they stopped reporting

Shouldn't this thread be in sales section though ?

It's mind-blowing that games that sold 5-6 million are in the middle of the pack. Zelda is closing in on 30 million. Mario Kart 8 DX is looking at 50 million.

That could definitely be the case as some of these games haven't received sales update numbers in 2-3 years even!

Oops, you're right! Sorry, it's been a while since I last made a thread. Might need some assistance from a site admin to change the thread. @Machina or @trunkswd would you by chance be able to change this thread to Sales Discussion? Or who might be able to?

It's kind of funny how upset people were that 3D All Stars was "limited". Seems like they made more than enough for everyone who wanted it to buy it. And, if you want to get a used copy now, it's really not hard to find for less than the original price. Limiting it was just a marketing gimmick to make what was a mediocre collection of some great games more appealing. And it worked.

Glad to see Wario Ware passing a million. Would have liked the franchise to get the Switch boost, but doesn't seem like it.

Still a little surprised that Nintendo decided to publish Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 of all things, but it seemed to work. Not as good as the original, but still fun. Hopefully won't be another decade or so till the next one.

Oooooh good to know! How often is the CESA White Papers updated?

This is something @Darwinianevolution could use as well!

You could prolly attach Xenoblade 3 onto the list already as an educated guess.

For sure! I imagine Live A Live will reach the milestone since Nintendo published the game outside of Japan, Splatoon 3, Kirby's Dream Buffet, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet and Bayonetta 3 will also be added on the list in 2022.

Hopefully there's a Direct in September for another release or two as well this year.
