No they haven't. They give updated sales numbers for all of their million sellers every time a new CESA White Papers book comes out.

Oooooh good to know! How often is the CESA White Papers updated?

This is something @Darwinianevolution could use as well!

It's updated once a year. They usually come out during the middle of the year and includes sales from up to December 31 of the previous year.

Even the lower tier franchises have games that are selling over half a million copies on switch 3 years after their launch. DKTF sold 700K in 2021 and Mario Tennis aces 620K, by the way Mario Tennis Aces is the best selling Mario sports game ever. Also good to see Fire Emblem 3H closing in on 4m after selling 420K in 2021.

The CESA Games White Paper 2022 was published last Saturday.
All the games on that list that are up until the end of 2021 have been updated through that.
Only Pókken Tournament DX for whatever reason doesn't get updated there anymore.

Bandai Namco also reports their numbers to CESA. Here are some of their numbers:

Dragon Ball FighterZ: 2.01mil

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: 1.55mil

Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun: 1.34mil

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy: 1.26mil

...

I feel like I've explained the CESA White Papers over a dozen times on here already.

Here is the updated wiki article:

Nice to see Bayonetta 2 break a million; spectacular game.

Also cool to get an update for Kirby Star Allies, (which puts it as the third highest selling game in the series) and Yoshi's Crafted World.

Donkey Kong used to be higher tier. -_-

Well it's a port, if you add both versions of DKTF (4.12m NSW and 2.02m Wiii U) then the overall sales  of 6.14m aren't too bad. IF DK had a brand new game that is an ambitious 3d platformer then it could sell 10m IMO and be a top tier franchise again just like DK was during the SNES era.

Yoshi's Crafted World is not only behind the OG Yoshi's Island at 4.12mil, but also behind Yoshi's Island DS at 3.36mil and if you want to count that, the Gameboy version of the very first Yoshi game (that puzzle game) that sold 3.12mil.

I think it has a surprisingly good chance of outselling the OG Yoshi's Island.

I was going off VGChartz numbers that had those at 2.8-3m. Where else has the numbers?

#16 in that list, you can the source is CESA.

#26 here, the source is also CESA.

Ah, I tried checking the individual games on Wikipedia and didn't see a sales number.

Still, over 3 million is strong sales all things considered, such as the game's lukewarm reception.

The most impressive thing is that Nintendo has masterclass dev cost. A million seller is probably super profitable for them. Would it be EA or Activision it would be a catastrophic failure. Sony or MS a moderate failure.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.
