Totally forgot about Prime Day

My bank account keeps reminding me after the fact.
Xbox Series (15.79) is about to outsell the PS Vita (15.82). It's likely to happen next week.
PS5 (21,25) is about to catch the GameCube (21.74). A couple of weeks to go.
Switch is up in the 300k+ range. All of the main 3 systems are up WoW. Looks like a good week overall.
curl-6 bet me that PS5 + X|S sales would reach 56m before year end 2023 and he was right.

Good sales across the board this week.
Switch only being down 3.4% from this week last year is excellent given how strong last year was.
Nice to see both the PS5 and Switch slowly reducing the percent gap compared to 2021. Xbox has been losing its lead but it's still up almost a third which is really nice.

PS5 + Xbox Series sales combined are still down YOY, but hopefully that changes as PS5 claws back its deficit and XS continues to show strong growth.
Last edited by curl-6 - on 26 July 2022Also just noticed; total hardware YTD is actually up over 2019, largely thanks to Xbox Series being up by around 2.5 million compared to its predecessor.
