I'd see more resistance coming from regions where independentism is much larger, like Tatarstan, Chechnya, Sakha or Dagestan - though if it goes on a bit, then Königsberg will certainly join in on the fun. It will be more difficult for them however, as Russia has normally a rather sizeable military presence in the enclave.

Trump might even genuinely believe half the things he spouts because he heard it from a Russian masquerading as a bot on social media.
