Just Russia's espionage hard at work. The amount of money they put in to social media and the internet to turn the idiot masses in other countries is insane. One thing we forget is that even famous people and even powerful people like Trump or Musk are part of the masses. Trump might even genuinely believe half the things he spouts because he heard it from a Russian masquerading as a bot on social media.

Yeah, when he was questioned on his "immigrants eating cats and dogs" his response was a shitty "it's what I heard" so basically he doesn't have a clue whether it was true or not, he just repeated some random shit he heard without verifying it. He is so easily manipulated that whether he is a Russian asset or just a useful idiot is irrelevant because they both have the same consequences.
